Reading between the lines (and a bit of previous press comment) bids likely to be around the 200p mark whist the directors think they can get more with a six to twelve month further development and refinement of the company, with freehold site sales and perhaps off-loading the rest of the bowling company, thus clearing most, perhaps all, of the 80m debt leaving a lean and mean Rileys which should be printing money by then. When the share price will react to this, anyone's guess...

possibly another mark down to get some people selling, possibly rns already priced in...

strange management this lot, almost as if they are trying to keep the price down so they can get the company on the cheap later...

weird and wonderful rns re share price movement - looks like there are several potential buyers but that they aren't likely to come up with the kind of money Georgica directors want.

which means what to the share price?

up because of hidden potential of the co in the directors eyes

up because there might be a bidding war for Georgica

down because directors think takeover unlikely

up because the press brings some attention to Georgica

presumably the large insitutional holders are open to a decent offer rather than promises of more in the future.

Should do 150 short term, maybe even break through the 200 mark but not sure if it can hold those levels. All IMO etc.

Yes, I've been thinking that some tinkering was going on - perhaps to do with the 225,000k trade that appeared a few times yesterday? This looks like steady concerted buying today.
I've also been speculating about the World Cup effect - eg are they showing it on big screens at any of their centres?

there we go, hopefully the start of a nice rise... looks like the MM's were trying to shake out a few nervous holders with the previous 5p drop and subsequent messing around with the buy/sell spread. 150 soonish?

about due for a trading statement/update early next week, should be interesting anyway... hopefully will have some upwards revaluation of the freehold sites. Not sure what the World Cup has done for trading, though.

Sets stocks have an auction at start and end of day about 5 mins each for big players who have stock to trade at that point - it sets the start and close price.

Aim stocks don't as r illiquid unless there is a good reason like more selling or buying than can be coped with in which case it can occur at anytime and may lead to suspension.

Don't know whether ADVFN system playingup but 16.5 up at end of day may mean an RNS tomorrow - or may not.

Stomach lining a bit thinner than 6 weeks ago - lost lots on AHT which I'm still in but reduced and another good un today RTD that is bound by takeover possibility.

Reckon there will this time be something at the end of this weeks share price rise.

May days like today continue
