16/4/2007 12:15 | hh, worth while point however the couples in this market want the best, not to put too much of a crude point on it but in a lot of cases they are quite desperate and will not worry about the cost in fact if it costs more it will be peceived as being a better product. | monis
16/4/2007 12:10 | james - Yes, looking again back to the cash burn at results last year & then cash at the trading update they probably do have enough cash for 9 months. But it's a moot point as we now know they will be raising more cash soon. Although there is potential, when I first looked at GNOS I was concerned at their pricing. They are quite expensive. EG: Last time I looked there was a competitor called 'FertilitySCORE' offering a similar test for about A QUARTER of the cost: £20 v £80. The FS test could be taken singularly by one person, make or female , whereas the GNOS product was designed for the male & female to take together. So the FS test was cheaper & more flexible. | hattori_hanzo
16/4/2007 12:06 | Remember you can buy this stock on IG Index. So shorters closing will help push the price up too. It is actually cheaper on IG than via a stockbroker since you save on the charges. | lord santafe
16/4/2007 12:03 | james- good post, i agree 6000 stores is very significant. | monis
16/4/2007 11:59 | hh- fair play your decision, remember that as the original instititions have been given first option they will be averaging down to 50p so still loads of upside. | monis
16/4/2007 11:57 | I had a quick look and reckon they have more than 9 months cash remaining looking at the burn between last years results & the January update. Plus this dosen't take account of increased sales through boots & the substantial increase in sales via the website. New sales channels in the US through 6000 stores is significant so no wonder they are looking at a $5m for a marketing campaign - be interesting to see what price the fundraising gets away at & if any of the other US drug chains they are in discussions with sign up. | james 2
16/4/2007 11:57 | more buys going through | monis
16/4/2007 11:57 | I've worked out that I'm going to wait for the details of the fund raising before I buy. ;-) | hattori_hanzo
16/4/2007 11:53 | Have you worked out what they will make if they sell to 10% target US market. | monis
16/4/2007 11:48 | 68steve - Ahh yes, I only read the AFXF headline. So, fund raising details will be announced soon. I'll wait & see at what price they raise funds and how much they raise. MONIS - I've done the maths, that's my point! ;-) Good luck. | hattori_hanzo
16/4/2007 11:45 | hattori, that's been arranged. | monis
16/4/2007 11:44 | Do the maths with the US Market, these will fly, that's why you can't buy more than £250 worth on line. | monis
16/4/2007 11:44 | HH,read the RNS,yes old and new investors will be raising funds and soon,DYOR. | 68steve
16/4/2007 11:41 | A company with plenty of potential, but no money. They need a fund raising soon or I calculate they'll probaly run out of money within six months. Excpect a fund raising RNS in the near future....but they may be forced to accept a low price as they are at the point of desperation. All imho, dyor, etc. | hattori_hanzo
16/4/2007 11:39 | Now I am kicking myself for not going into these big time, lol. | lord santafe
16/4/2007 11:27 | Ticking up nicely now. Still have £2m in bank market cap of £2.7m and a very nice US contract. Loads more upside. DYOR | monis
16/4/2007 11:21 | here we go........ | monis
16/4/2007 11:20 | more delayed buys going through, can buy hardly anything on line. | monis
16/4/2007 11:19 | Short term 30p,US market just a tad bigger than uk ;-) | 68steve
16/4/2007 11:18 | you've got it stevie I'd say higher than that, they floated at 110p and they are now in the us market, better than expected. | monis
16/4/2007 11:14 | On the move,30p target... | 68steve
16/4/2007 11:14 | starting to go......... | monis
16/4/2007 11:11 | Big delayed buys going through. Can buy more than £250 on line. | monis
16/4/2007 10:50 | You wouldn't be impressed if you bought in at 110p. It's obviously taken a while but they now seem to be getting these tests out there. Fundamentally i can't see how they can go wrong from these levels. | monis
16/4/2007 10:45 | can not work out why these are so cheap market can noy like the company | bubsy2 |
