It's good news but it's pretty factored in IS will be defeated this year.A better RNS will be another payment, and the amount. Next week will be nice. This month is essential.

We are due an update in the next few days on .. I expect and hope on Monday wrt The Peshkabir-2 well drilling.

Also, I would also expect an update on the Dec16 payments very soon (by 24Feb17 hopefully),( with jan17 (and possibly feb17) payments due in mar17) this will underpin the investment in more oil production with DNO and also to progress the gas FDP and FID!

I think the key is in this CEO statement made in the RNS on 13/2/17;

Murat Özgül, Chief Executive of Genel, said:

"We are very pleased to have signed definitive agreements for our gas project and are now focused on the next step of concluding negotiations with potential partners, and moving the gas project towards the FID. We are determined that 2017 will be a watershed year as we seek to create a gas business that will be transformational for both Genel and the KRG."

already priced in the impairments are.its only a £200m company now with assets worth around £900m
