06/12/2016 12:34 | Looks like a big gun heading for top job at Genel. Should attract more investors/institutio So its clear Kudistan is open for business and the majors are going to start investing. Genel/DNO could be awarded a new licence too. "with investment starting to pick up and prepayments for oil exports continuing," the ministry said. "The Kurdistan Region continues to export around 580,000 bpd of crude oil." hxxp://www.albawaba. | kmann
06/12/2016 12:27 | It's called sentiment - and it feels pretty low in this region of Iraq | mbmiah

06/12/2016 12:08 | bond markets where the players are professional traders.hmmmmmm | wantmorethan24p
06/12/2016 12:05 | i like this snippet First up look at the price you get for Gulf’s two sets of bonds – 66 cent and 40 cents in the dollar. In a break-up situation bonds rank ahead of equity and so when bonds are priced to get only 2 pence in 5 back that tells you that the equity is essentially worthless. The shares are worthless. History shows that bond markets (where the players are professional traders) are always far better prices of value than equity markets where share prices are determined at the margin by private investors, the sort of savants one sees on the LSE Asylum. | wantmorethan24p
06/12/2016 11:58 | MP Nadhim Zahawi he is the man to get hold off me thinks...that who should the SFO goa fter.he must know more. he has been speaking at conference today. | wantmorethan24p
06/12/2016 11:51 | Question... are the KRG and Bond Holders in it together??? Bondholders in Gulf Keystone agreed to swap more than $500 million of debt for equity earlier this month. Without the deal, the company said it would have been unable to avoid insolvency. The restructuring came after the company suffered from a collapse of oil prices in the past two years as well as erratic payments for exports from the government of the Kurdish region of Iraq. maybe the SFO should investigate. | wantmorethan24p
06/12/2016 11:44 | ophr>>>> too late its risen from 68p to 88p nearly 30%...its due for major profit taking me thinks. where were you when it was 68p??? am gonna keep buying Genel(so undervalued) because am gonna try my best to make sure that the Bond holders do not scam us like gkp and xel. | wantmorethan24p
06/12/2016 11:27 | The Kurds had a great opportunity to really confirm that they are on the same side as DNO and GENL , but have not , hence the share price taking a negative step , what a shambles. Ophr is a much better place to have your readies parked , for the time being. | jotoha2
06/12/2016 11:17 | where??? this better value if it refinances. | wantmorethan24p
06/12/2016 11:12 | Went long after the OPEC deal but flat again now. Better opportunities elsewhere. The political risk here is enormous. | hpcg
06/12/2016 11:09 | why that expensive....??? so its only the RICH who can afford it. puts small PIs at a massive disadvantage. because i would liked some Bonds just to hedge myself. if GKP shareholders had done that then they would not be that screwed up. | wantmorethan24p
06/12/2016 11:05 | That is a typical entry price for bonds, GKP is $200k IIRC. | gray1107
06/12/2016 11:05 | the Bonds may well be unsecured but the holders can force the company into liquidation to force payment .. so in 2 years time if Genel cannot pay then expect a fire asset sale. | wantmorethan24p
06/12/2016 11:01 | newssweller you think you know your stuff..but you do not. | wantmorethan24p
06/12/2016 11:00 | Collecting Unsecured Debt If a person fails to make payments on unsecured debt, the creditor first contacts him to try and receive payment. If the borrower and the creditor cannot reach a repayment agreement, the creditor's options include reporting the delinquent debt to a credit reporting agency, selling the debt to a collection agency and filing a lawsuit. If the creditor files a law suit in state or federal court, a court ruling may force the borrower to use specific assets to repay the unsecured debt. | wantmorethan24p
06/12/2016 10:58 | The company will refinance the bonds, it's not rocket scienceThey don't wait till the bonds are due and then panic | newswseller |
