Hi Mate,

FEED is not due to be completed unit the end of year so I doubt it finished yet. The issue is getting a partner to sign up with us which for 3 years we have failed to do.

The last update did not sound very positive and said words like "working towards getting a partner by end of year"

We shall know all on Wednesday......

I thought some news about gas was due soon after Peshkabir-2 spudded, does anyone know ?

Gemell were awarded the pre-Front End Engineering Design (‘FEED’) contract for the midstream facilities to Fluor, expected to complete by the end of 2016. Once the pre-FEED identifies the location of the midstream processing facilities, a consultant will be selected for the Environmental and Social Impact Assessment.

Anyone know if the FEED is complete?

And finally, any news or timetable for Miriam?

plenty of time before the bonds arer due for maturity.over 2 1/2 years left.







hopefully by then they will receive their backpayments and the gas project will be at an advanced stage.

yup and next payment will shot the price upto about 106 then whilst we wait for next payment the shorters take it back to around 89p I think we are on the 4th iteration of that scenario.

Lack of Payments from Kerds is the main reason for the depressed share price currently. I am assuming this is the case due to lack of any RNS confirming any payments.

All,

Can someone explain how our PSC works. For example whats the difference between oil at 40$ or 50$. Does this difference go to KRG, US or shared.

For example in February we were paid 6$ a barrel for Tawke oil and in August we were paid 8.5$ per barrel.

Any ideas ???

ERBIL, Kurdistan Region – Norwegian oil and gas company DNO ASA on Wednesday reported the completion of three new production wells at its flagship Tawke field in the Kurdistan Region, saying it was part of a stepped-up drilling program that began in July.It said the Tawke-31 well "will be brought on production following an acid stimulation program," and that Tawke-33 and Tawke-34 "are also being readied for production."Drilling will also begin at a fourth well, Tawke-37, next week, the company said in a statement."The four wells are expected to cost less than USD 20 million in total and add about 10 percent to field output capacity," the company added.Tawke production during the third quarter averaged 109,159 barrels of oil per day, of which 108,759 bpd were delivered for export through Turkey, the DNO statement said.

Basically many oil fields are profitable at 60$ a barrel oil but these are limited and when they are gone they are gone.

Then its back to the mega billion projects which make a price of 90$ a barrel necessary.....

Glad we are drilling in one of the cheapest areas of the world with 1.5-1.75$ production cost per barrel...

gregpeck7 I would be pretty sure we will get a payment next weeks as KRG statement said 75$ million would be paid to producers for previous oil.......but its the KRG ???

To be honest with increased production which is up by 150k per day due to Kirkirk, and a better oil price per barrel I would hope our troubles are behind us but...WTFDIK

Im Excited.

The reason Im excited is because GENEL cannot and will not continue to languish where it is.

Be it a take over, taken private. Merger, our share price is to ridiculous for words and therefore at some stage.......................BOOM.

One thing is for certain the KRG will consolidate and only want players with big pockets who can drill drill drill and increase production.

Its always made sense to me for a DNP/GKP/GENEL merger. Why would you not do that and if you go back in history each have tied to take over in the past and owened parts of each others fields.

Its a tangled web we lead.......

Oil shooting up and I firmly believe GENEL will in the next 2 weeks push on greatly.
