15/9/2016 10:10 | Good morning jotoha2. NY Boy is one of a tiny number I have on filter . Must be a good reason. I note POO has perked up a little since I posted; Brent now $46.10. Got to make the most of any positive , lol | cyan
15/9/2016 09:49 | NYboy has arrived , always a good buy signal . | jotoha2
15/9/2016 09:32 | POO weakness is hitting the sectors SP's today with Brent now $45.73. If ever there was an article to cause OPEC pause for thought; this is it; "Oil Glut Set to Worsen as Nigeria and Libya Fields Restart" Might just be enough to force production agreements. We live in hope.... | cyan
14/9/2016 20:46 | I think that the KRG have had a couple of rough months. July and Aug they had pipeline down time and nothing from North Oil Company. Now they are producing at full steam, have a deal with Iraq over Kirkuk oil and have said in their statement they will be paying 60$ for August oil. Always a possibility an oil and Gas deal could be reached wth Iraq. Government deficit is improving each month. These are the things holding us back with ISIL added for good measure. Personally Im all in with Genel to about 35,000 shares. Fortune favours the brave. Its definitely a trial holding Genel. So heres to us........ Hawkey | hawkey2

14/9/2016 14:54 | Extract from some mail I received Commerzbank said in a note that the delay in rebalancing is largely due to a rise in production from members of the Organization of the Petroleum Exporting Countries and that the market would be balanced already if OPEC had maintained its production at May's levels. "Rather than talking about capping oil production as it was planning to do at the end of September, OPEC would be better advised to think about reversing the production growth of recent months," Commerzbank analyst Carsten Fritsch said. | w1ndjammer
14/9/2016 14:45 | cumnor that's a daft statement, if the kurds took the licences of the ioc`s who do you think will get the oil out the ground who do you think will supply all the kit their is something called world trade and courts that can force a country to pay what the owe that includes the 400 mill WJ. | w1ndjammer
14/9/2016 14:33 | support at 45.30 for WTI have collapsed next support 43.44 I know genel deal in brent but its all connected and I only trade WTI WJ. | w1ndjammer
14/9/2016 14:01 | Problem here is Genl might have no control whatsoever over shareholder assets which, at the stroke of a pen or whim of Baghdad and Ankara hardliners, could be worthless if politians get greedy. Happened before in Kurdistan. I don't trust them, nor indeed are the BOD doing much to alleviate market concerns while they draw multi million pound salaries. This is not about poo. Even if its $200 and you dont get paid for it bye bye? imo | cumnor
14/9/2016 13:26 | "Why have the MNR middle man creaming off whatever." Sparky, that (Hawrami) Turkey ain't gonna vote for Xmas... | mr roper
14/9/2016 13:04 | Well at least we now know. | sparky333
14/9/2016 11:25 | Agreed, never going to happen, just like the oil and gas law.But who cares as long as cash is received by the IOCs.What I would like to see is a change in payment mechanisms, by being paid in oil rather than handouts from the MNR.This removes the dependence on the Kurds. For every 100 barrels pumped the IOC get 5 barrels or what ever the number to meet the PSC therefore Genel and DNO are laid direct by the buyer. Why have the MNR middle man creaming off whatever. | sparky333
14/9/2016 11:15 | smart move, Sparky. Still a few on the GKP thread who are reckoning on it happening...I'll be older than Gandalf when it does.. | mr roper
14/9/2016 11:10 | I could not give a shot about Kurdistan independence.I care about being paid for a product. Nothing more, nothing less. | sparky333
14/9/2016 10:48 | they still won't get a country out of it, Sparky. Turkey is exterminating Kurds on one hand and buying their oil on the other. | mr roper |
