What spooked me and caused me to sell at pretty much the low of the day was the suddenness of the drop and the fact it happened just before the close. There is also the fact a trading statement is known to be imminent.Those factors combined with how illiquid the stock is and how high the rating is (no margin of error) left me feeling it was time to take profits.The fact it bounced back suggests I was probably being too cynical and it's more likely just market maker games.

DD, because I thought it's is bloody Friday today :) that's why!As soon as I realised it's Thursday my day was ruined haha :) but yes, fully agree the update can come tomorrow! And giving today's last minute action it is most likely to be tomorrow.I think the results will be strong, and I'm holding for the long term

There are only 4 or 5 market makers and no SETS element so rapid movements are a given in this share as the last few months show. Why is there a conspiracy when price moves down a bit and none when it moves up so much?I bought at a certain price and have added since. I don't really give a hoot about moves going on intraday and hold until news says I should sell. Maybe a poor update is that event but I am not expecting one!

totally agree ksharlandjiev , I will be surprised if this is not quickly back to £5 plus tomorrow morning. I don't use stop losses,look how you can get burned.

Something fishy is going on here... I think someone was let in cheaply.
Last trade from the auction is with a tiny volume but for £5, making the close price just -0.5% from the previous open... hmmmm
on the other hand, I can see a similar dip in FTSE100 just before 4pm, so this could be a reflection?

pyglet, ADVFN is only trying to guess if a trade is BUY or SELL
IN a fast moving price, it can't tell.
Most of the time I'm buying is actually shown as SELL in here, so I wouldn't bet this was a SELL.
Most probably a treeshake to hit few stop losses before the results on Monday.
As you can see the price is now UP again.
Don't forget Old Mutual top up of 20k shares yesterday... surely there is a reason...
