If I post past midnight at the weekend, don't take it too seriously, as that's post-pub!

Taurus is bang on the money with this stock G4M. I think people anchor to the previous price, and just assume that, because it's gone up a lot, then it must be expensive.

Actually, if you crunch the numbers, and look at comparator stellar growth etailers, it's not expensive at all. Plus I think it could thrash broker forecasts too.

Downside risk is that if growth suddenly disappoints, then it could fall sharply. Risk:reward is therefore pretty clear.

Regards, Paul.

The nice thing about G4M is the size of the company. Some may look at the share price chart and think about momentum investing, whilst others might think it's gone far too high from a quid in June.

The reality is that, at a fiver, the market cap. will still only be £100 million, for a company likely to generate £3m PBT this year, and growing as fast as a very fast thing.

I told myself I would stop buying at £4, but have been unable to resist grabbing a few more this week. Unlike Paul, I can foresee G4M going well past a tenner in the next few years... :0)

DYOR is over-valued, IMO I sold up months ago and put the proceeds into G4M. :0)

Just a word of caution. Hero worship ranks alongside picking the noisiest board on ADVFN for bad investment strategies. I'm sure Paul would agree that at the end of the day there's no substitute for DYOR.

Nah, we don't do things like that at Mello.

My presentation was all about AVS. Massive gains, wonderful. It's up to each where you re-redeploy the monies. Personally I increased my holding in RBG today. Up to you what you do with it.

G4M is my biggest holding already. I think this is a spectacular company, I backed up the truck at 180p, have no intention of selling. Period.

Regards, Paul.

Paulypilot talking at Mello tonight reflecting on AVS I believe shauney, might give some suggestions as to where the profits from AVS may go. Wonder if an online music retailer (one of his current favs) could get a mention :o)

One of my kids instruments came via the school from G4M, so this should help.

BBC

Practical music teaching in England, delivered by a network of 121 hubs, is secure for another four years, ministers have announced.

The hubs, first set up in 2012, allow children to play instruments, sing in choirs or play in bands, but continued funding has been uncertain.

Now the government has announced £300m to last over the next four years.

OTOH he might be looking at the last results, trading statements, figures, revenue increases, expansion into Europe and the customer satisfaction ratings.

And drawing the blindingly obvious conclusion.

Just a thought.... :0)

Paul,

When someone exerts such confidence especially after my last post I come to the conclusion that you've had a chat with either from the broker the forecasts are conservative or from management about the forecasts being conservative.

In either case, that's a red flag. It's the brokers job to ACCURATELY forecast earnings. I know management try and get brokers to forecast low so they can say they beat them, but that's not exactly good practice. Moreover, if brokers know they are probably light and are complicit in not doing proper research and coming to a conclusion to increase them, then those research notes aren't worth the paper they are written on.

Does any of this ring remotely true, or are your conclusions based on serious research of you own? Quite frankly even if you had, your conviction level wouldn't be so 'certain', so I'll go with my initial instinct, which is pretty reprehensible behaviour from all, IF true.
