|Thanks a lot.|
|My brokers have just told me it was just a cash purchase and no new shares are due. Ho hum.......|
Thanks for your message. So we can only have a small amount of cash, no any new shares for GTE share holders?
|Apparently my broker received the money today for this transaction! It would have been nice to have had a say in the deal but I guess cash in your pocket is not a bad thing in the current circumstances!
My broker is now investigating to see what he can find out. I presume GTE shareholders will also hold some shares in the new entity as well as it is a merger.
I will report back if/when he finds something!
I got this information from TD waterhouse(a letter to me). I have tried to find more detailed information about the merger from GTE and WG. websites, but can not get anything.
Where did you find this info? On a quick search I can't find anything!
|Wood Group Gas Turbine Services Holding Limited will merge with Gas Turbine efficiency Limited with effect from 30th September 2011.
Under the terms of the merger, shareholders will be entitled to receive USD 0.0078 in exchange for each Gas Turbine Efficiency Limited share held.|
|Good to hear from you, Minky65. Lets continue to keep our fingers crossed Together and hope against hope for the best in the long term.|
|Hi Albertedwin , I agree with your thoughts on GTE , I still believe that the company has a future and am still holding shares in GTE in the hope that I see a return on my investment (fingers crossed).|
|Many thanks minky65. I am pleased to see that this Thread still appears to be alive. Reading between the lines from this Report it would seem that the Company's commercial fortunes may be beginning to revive slightly. What do you, or empirestate if he is still watching, think about the current situation ?|
|full year results are now on the GTE website.|
|I expected a stampede for the exit but it was quiet considering today was the final days trading on AIM.
Will all those buyers from the last few weeks have the last laugh?|
|out of gas.|
|GTE leaves AIM today.Shares now delisted
Goodbye.....but not a good buy for those who bought in recent weeks.
......after having a little dig around it would appear that u have some valid points regarding the delisting and subsequent improvement in the companies future.........it would appear thru growing revenue and inferred future improvement, that upon paying down debt there lies a company who may become profitable.......and those who hold stock where they r transferable to their direct market access could make a good return........|
|Its not all doom and gloom if they can still attract key staff:
ORLANDO, Florida Gas Turbine Efficiency plc ("GTE" or "the Company"), a leading provider of proprietary cleantech systems for enhancing the performance of industrial gas turbines, pleased to announce the addition of Michael Korf, who will be assuming the role of Director of Sales for the Americas effective 14 March, 2011.

|More likely protecting themselves. I would suspect they are only working matched bargains and no online dealing.
Place a limit order of a reasonable size and they could probably find a seller.|
|..why do punters keep buying biggish chunks here?
421818 just gone thru at .42p a little higher on the ask?
and why cant u get quotes for any small sizes? r the mm's protecting the interests of the buying public, never known them do that b4........very odd company situation this one..........

Gentleman, I am buying...this is because even if the GTE de-listed in April, still it will be sold with return to shareholder at least 5p. I am happy with 1Million trades just 5k, will give me 25k.
|Mug punters took a battering on this. Couldn't believe they chased it up to 2.5p. Painful.|
2 days to delisting.
Spread now 66%
Last opportunity to bail out|
|GTE will be delisted after Friday|
|Spread now an impressive 35.6%
Shares will be delisted in 7 days|
The company may have a great future as a private company.
But what is the point in a speculative punt when you are unable to make a quick exit, unless there is a takeover?
Just 7 working days left before delisting and you think investors will be happy to hold shares in a private company.Doubt it very much.
As regards your £10k investment, you do not say if your embassassing average is a high or a low figure.
Remember EVERYBODY who bought shares in GTE in March is showing a paper loss.
About to be delisted and a 20%+ spread. No thank you.
As regards a better speculative punt, I will put my money into NGG.
No need to apologise about your mistake. I come across ignorant people every day.|
