10/1/2017 08:01 | Market likes it | trident5
10/1/2017 07:58 | AR - yes - there was £16m in cash and over £19m in working capital, and that's before taking into account December (xmas) trading. So, there's scope for another 25p soon. | trident5
10/1/2017 07:44 | Only thing I could see vaguely looking forward: 'It's early days, we're having fun, and the feedback we've had is that our customers are enjoying the changes too. I intend to build on these improvements in the second half.' Doesn't sound like sales falling off a cliff :-) | cockerhoop
10/1/2017 07:28 | No outlook statement or anything on current trading. Knowing the company, I suspect that all is well and that management will seek to dampen expectations. I think EPS for 2017 may be nearer 70p. Peel Hunt's numbers assume no growth in H2 2017 vs H2 2016. This looks overly conservative. We could be in line for 60p of dividends. As ever DYOR w1 | woozle1
07/1/2017 09:35 | Interims on Tuesday, not long to wait now. | argylerich
06/1/2017 10:54 | Nod, Phoenix were keen sellers around and after the last TS, certainly held back the warranted rise after the RNS. Seemed to have stopped now but below 3% now so we're unlikely to find out. | cockerhoop
06/1/2017 10:42 | m4ybe, I take back my previous comment ... up 20% in around 6 weeks. This week has been very strong indeed. It seems there are buyers but few sellers. M4ybe 50% is possible. | nod
03/1/2017 19:40 | Welcome aboard, m4ybe.I don't think you will get 50% from here but 20% is very possible and a safer bet than many companies. | nod
03/1/2017 13:53 | Warhammer was one of the top selling games on Steam in their discount end of year sale. They were promoting it within the top 10 just below FDEV's Planet Coaster. So I started buying GAW today too. | m4ybe
03/1/2017 13:36 | Someone is confident this afternoon buying 500ks worth. | mozy123
01/1/2017 20:00 | I just checked the RNS and the 20p divi was announced on 20 April 2016. | nod
01/1/2017 19:34 | The announcement of special dividends was often ad-hoc in the past, sometimes coming well after results were announced. We'll see whether he keeps up the tradition. Hopefully the forward looking statement will be positive and ignite interest from funds looking for both capital gain and yield. | nod
01/1/2017 19:15 | Trident, these folks pay out all un needed cash; hence the unpredictable dy. I reckon we could see another 25 before long; especially as they appear on track to do 60p of earnings this year. In any event, we'll know in the next few day. | woozle1
01/1/2017 15:44 | If they've had a good Xmas - they'll hit £9 for sure. I was looking at the dividends paid out the last few years - and it's been quite something - well done Woozie. | trident5
01/1/2017 15:25 | Although share price has not been spectacular, the dividends have exceeded my initial investment of £2.60. If the current growth is sustained - having been in these since 07 that's a big if - share price should go north of £10. | woozle1
01/1/2017 11:39 | Yes, I think that's likely Nod. | chester
01/1/2017 07:39 | Happy New Year to all GAW traders.I have a feeling that 2017 will be a good year (at least the first half) | nod
29/12/2016 23:54 | Chester, am I correct in recalling that you were on the GAW BB back in the 2002-03 years? | nod
29/12/2016 20:24 | The planets seem to be favourably lined up for GAW this December: Strong product sales, Strong royalties, Weak pound. Many of the Royalties come from US companies so I would imagine they have a royalty deal in US dollars. | nod
29/12/2016 08:41 | Well done. I think you'll see 800p. | chester
29/12/2016 00:45 | Hi Chester, I have held, I still think they will reach 800 barring a financial crisis. I've been in and out of GAW since 2002. Got into them after my young son got involved and I was taking him to an indie store in Takapuna, New Zealand. LOTR was taking off.I did well timing my exit reasonably well a few years later. In 2008 I had high hopes for the online game AOR and the spin off store sales. My son and his mates thought it was excellent. EA bought the developer but then EA hit financial difficulty for a few years and would not invest in AOR. A real shame that - we could have been well over 1000p by now. I stayed in on the back of the restructuring effort. GAW has been good for trading, hitting 100p a few times then up to 850p with volatility in between. | nod
28/12/2016 20:15 | Yes, the manager I spoke to also very positive regards the new CEO. | cockerhoop
28/12/2016 18:19 | Kingston. Also Epsom has a new manager and looks much busier. The managers seem much happier with the new CEO and they are all going to get paid more, which also is good as it's been some time since they had a pay rise. W | woozle1
28/12/2016 17:20 | Woozle1, Which is your local store? Is it single man operation? I had a fascinating 30 minutes chatting to the manager and a few customers in the Sheffield store recently. | cockerhoop
28/12/2016 16:30 | Added to my holding today. Will be interesting to see how trading has been over Xmas when we find out in a couple of weeks. | cfro |
