Last year's results will of course be rubbish, which perhaps is priced in, perhaps not.

Davy (amazingly) forecast 7.7p diluted EPS this year in their March 22nd note, resulting from a £2.1m PBT and a £13.2m turnover, up from £6m in 2015.

This then reduces to 2.3p EPS in 2017 from only £10m turnover.

Bizarre forecasting. I can only assume that perhaps they are expecting a system sale this year and not next year, though analysts don't normally factor in such random events.

GAME could do very well out of simulated gaming, and if they make a system sale or two, and/or a US state or two legalise online gambling, or even just progress the likelihood of it, then all bets are off.

But it's been a long and hard struggle for GAME. At least now they have the funding in place.

Ah!
I see.
I sympathise.
It is frustrating if you have seen a company lose ground.
Not forgetting that it must be so for management as well.
Politics got in the way and the general market I think.
I am working on the theory that that attitudes could change in the US,but in the meantime GAME seem to be adapting and branching out in a commercial way in a very sensible direction which could turn it round,in my view.

IMO

I thought yesterday's RNS was a pretty good signal of things to come:

"GameAccount Network opens new North American Office – Tripling Staff Capacity for New Customer Service Team

ISE: GAME LSE: GAME

London & Dublin | September 2, 2015: GameAccount Network plc, an award-winning developer and supplier of enterprise-level B2B internet gaming software, services and online gaming content in the United States, has opened its state of the art North American Headquarters in Las Vegas, Nevada. The new space is over three times larger than the former campus, and is scalable to support the expanding game publishing and U.S. market dedicated end-user customer services. The office expansion within Las Vegas was aligned with the personal relocation of CEO Dermot Smurfit and his family from the company’s headquarters in London.

The high-tech space will offer an online-to-offline showroom facility serving as a powerful demonstration venue for casino operators interested in the GameAccount’s innovative and market-leading Simulated Gaming™ enterprise solutions designed for land-based North American casinos.

GameAccount’s innovative online-to-offline showroom is also designed to support strengthening relationships with an increasing number of third party gaming content vendors currently integrated with GameAccount, many of whom are also based in Las Vegas. This new space also allows GameAccount to demonstrate to other potential U.S. based gaming content vendors the expanding world of both Simulated Gaming and regulated real money Internet gaming.

Dermot Smurfit, CEO of GameAccount Network commented:

“Opening a long term office facility in the glittering heart of the casino Industry matches our company’s long-stated ambition to enable America’s casinos to move online and extend their valued patron relationships into the online environment. We look forward to hosting our commercial and Tribal partners in the new space to more intimately explore all of the exciting road-mapped innovations that we’ll soon be bringing to life on our Simulated Gaming and Real Money Gaming partner’s sites.”

Located just west of the Las Vegas strip in Summerlin, the new facility will enable GameAccount to centralize US operations across the commercial, operational, business development, and customer services teams. The move also marks the strong commitment of GameAccount to the North American marketplace, with the belief that Simulated Gaming and the supporting services around the product will be a material business line both for GameAccount and licensed operators- regardless of the regulatory landscape for Real Money Gaming in the US ahead. Techinvest's January'14 issue is now available free online - in which they gave a full tip for GAME. Here's the article FYI:

"GAMEACCOUNT NETWORK

Gaming generates huge revenues globally and forecasts suggest that much of the turnover will soon be derived from online and mobile sources. Many countries are in the process of legalising online gambling, preferring to take the regulated approach rather than seeing operators and consumers move offshore. Key
to this development is the US where several states have signalled their intention to lift restrictions on online gambling. Gaming operators are now preparing for a surge in demand from US consumers in particular.

One business set to benefit from this trend is GameAccount Network, a developer and supplier of gaming software systems and online gaming content. Building on an already strong presence in Europe, the Company has recently established a foothold in the US market. Management is ambitious and sees a huge opportunity to secure first mover advantage in the key US market. Funds to support its expansion plans were secured in November when the Company joined AIM, raising £13.17m net through a placing at 135p. With a strengthened balance sheet and
an established technology platform, GameAccount is now well positioned to
benefit from the rapidly growing market for online gaming infrastructure.

Turn-key Solution
Founded in 2002, GameAccount has headquarters in London, with an office in Las
Vegas. The Company currently employs 70 people, of which 45 work in the Development and Technology team. GameAccount's business activities include the operation of a B2C website in the UK offering proprietary developed online skill-based games to endusers, currently under the brand MoneyGaming.com. Since 2003, the Company has also been supplying proprietary online gaming content to gaming operators.

The product suite currently includes over 135 proprietary games and variants, designed for desktop and mobile devices. Games for desktop are developed using Adobe Flash, and the Company has recently launched HTML5 games and downloadable 'Apps' for iOS and Android mobile devices. Seven major online
operators currently use GameAccount's gaming content. The Company has already
achieved a 47.5% share of the online casino gaming market in Italy, illustrating the potential for the business to take a strong lead in other markets that are newly regulated.

Central to GameAccount's technology offering is an enterprise software system for internet gaming. The system is marketed to online and land-based gaming operators as a turn-key technology solution for both regulated real-money and simulated online gaming. Developed in London under a UK Gambling Commission licence, the technology is certified to the highest technical standards currently required by gaming regulators. The system includes a gaming
content platform that enables the distribution of a comprehensive range of proprietary and third party gaming content to online gaming operators. All games are integrated into the internet gaming system and allow end-users to play online using a single account and username across desktop and mobile devices.

To-date, GameAccount has deployed five identical instances of the system, each
supporting one or more licensees. Software updates are made in London and then
deployed remotely to other global instances. This avoids the creation of different versions of the software and results in significant cost savings for licensees. GameAccount also provides a range of tools to assist licensees
to manage and grow their online gaming business, including business intelligence, analytics and customer relationship management services.

In addition, the Company also derives revenue from converting offline casino slot machines into online equivalents on behalf of third party land-based slot machine manufacturers.

Huge Potential
GameAccount has strategically positioned itself as a first mover in regulated European markets and is now seeking to replicate this in countries that are planning to move to a regulated model, most notably the US. The Company has been developing its presence in North America since 2009 and established a
Las Vegas office in in 2013. Last April, GameAccount completed its first significant US transaction with the sale of a modified instance of the internet gaming system to Aristocrat Technologies. Partnering Betfair, the system has also been installed in the Trump Plaza Hotel and Casino, New Jersey.

Gambling is legally restricted in the US, but its availability and participation is increasing. Some form of gambling in landbased casinos is now allowed in 39 states and momentum is building behind intra-state regulation of online gaming in the US.

Between 12 to 15 states are expected to be regulated for online gambling by the end of 2018. This represents a potentially huge market. Regulated real-money online gaming revenues in the US are forecasted to grow to $668.0 million in 2014 and $8.0bn in 2018. GameAccount has invested in excess of £1.0m in the expansion of its US infrastructure in the last quarter of 2013 and has earmarked a further £5.0m investment for 2014. The US market is expected to contribute in excess of 75% of EBITDA in 2015, with the number of employees in the Company is likely to increase from 70 to 150 in the same period.

Strong Growth
GameAccount generates revenue through a combination of upfront technical development fees and by participating in a share of the Licensees' ongoing gaming revenues.

Revenue is also derived from the supply of ancillary services. Corporate customers include leading names such as Rank, Betfair, William Hill and Paddy Power. Audited results for the year to 31 December 2012 showed net revenues of £5.5m, EBITDA of £0.3m and a pre-tax loss of £0.96m. The Company has also supplied provisional figures for the ten month period to 31 October 2013. Growth since the previous financial year has been very strong, with net revenues
almost doubling to £10.85m. EBITDA was £4.66m, with a pre-tax profit of £2.46m
(equivalent to earnings per share of 3.6p). Cash and equivalents end the period at £2.75m, boosted since by the £13.17m proceeds from the placing in November.

With demand for online gaming set to surge as more jurisdictions choose to legalise and regulate gambling, GameAccount is superbly placed to benefit as a leading provider of the requisite online infrastructure.

Buy the shares for exposure to the lucrative market for online and mobile gaming.

And GAME is off and running today with the first post-IPO news....

Dermot Smurfit, CEO of GameAccount Network, said: "Working in close collaboration with Betfair, Trump Resorts and the New Jersey Division of Gaming Enforcement has enabled us to launch our Internet Gaming System, already operational in Europe's highly regulated markets, as BetfairCasino.com in New Jersey. We achieved this within the strict timelines required to launch on 'Day One' in New Jersey's newly-regulated Internet gaming market.
