GAME Digital plc (the "Company") today announces that, in accordance with the terms of the relationship agreement entered into on 6 June 2014 between the Company, Duodi Investments S.à r.l. ("Duodi") and Baker Partners LP (the "Relationship Agreement"), James Shinehouse is appointed as Duodi's representative director, in accordance with the terms of the Relationship Agreement, with effect from 28 November 2017. Duodi is the Company's major shareholder and is in turn an investment vehicle ultimately wholly-owned by Elliott International, L.P. and Elliott Associates, L.P. (the latter via a participation interest with Elliott International, L.P.).

James Shinehouse will become a non-independent non-executive director of the Company and he will be subject to election at the Company's next annual general meeting and to re-election at each following annual general meeting of the Company. James is a Partner at Atlantic Financial Advisory Partners, a financial advisory firm with wide experience in specialist financial and operational matters, and has more than 25 years' experience across a variety of sectors including, retail, distribution and technology.

John Jackson, Chairman of GAME Digital, said: "Since Franck Tuil stood down from the board last year, James has attended all board meetings as an observer and has made a valuable contribution. James is an experienced finance professional with good knowledge of our business and we welcome him to the board."

James Shinehouse has, in the past five years, previously been a director of AI Airports International Limited and of PI Power International Limited, each of which were listed on the Vienna Stock Exchange.

There are no other disclosures required under LR 9.6.13 in respect of this appointment.
