31/12/2015 16:58 | Game is right to quit the expensive High Street in low spend towns, they should follow the example of Richer Sounds who are in secondary low rent positions, piling their wares high and selling them cheap! The confidence of getting a bargain drives traffic to their doors eliminating the need to go to price comparative sites! ps. I don't buy games for my kids anymore because they are now grown ups, but always bought them over the counter in a Game store. Hated the experience of throwing a DVD in the trolley alongside the milk and courgettes then carrying them home in the same plastic bag, it's as unbecoming as your hair dresser offering chiropody services in chair next to you! | gotnorolex
31/12/2015 11:07 | Amazon and all the regular supermarkets sell games cheaper, and with more marketing than game digital itself. Most of the stores near me have closed and I expect this trend to continue. This share is well overpriced at the moment, in my opinion | kobanaman
28/12/2015 14:13 | That's not a bad day's works...suspect they will have a buoyant xmas/new year sales period | tsmith2

28/12/2015 09:18 | One good day at least. According to digital analytics firm SimilarWeb, the biggest winner this year was Game, the videogames retailer hit by a profit warning just last week, which registered a 140pc increase in desktop traffic on Christmas Day. Fashion chains H&M, Asos and Sports Direct also all doubled traffic year-on year, while PCWorld reported an 85pc surge in visitors. The discount retailer Lidl also reported a three-fold increase in users on its app. | hutch_pod
27/12/2015 12:39 | ONJohn - you've clearly not read the article... | tsmith2
27/12/2015 11:11 | I think Game has its own pressing issues to resolve. Whatever specific company issues the Woodford trust is facing, Woodford's fund , where GMD is held, is currently 4th (out of 82 funds) for the past year across UK Equity Income according to Trustnet. | hutch_pod
24/12/2015 11:16 | 85% or more held by IIs and management, so free float v limited | tsmith2 |
