21/3/2012 18:18 | justthemoney quite. At first sign of trouble, always sell. The stockmarket is for the longterm not for a quick buck, as the yanks say. If you want to make money may I suggest NXT, BSY and BATS. Avoid shares priced at less than £1. | honiton
21/3/2012 18:13 | justthe, 'I've f.... up big time here and need to face my wife. She's heard it on the news but doesn't know the extent of damage. I guess I get shagged twice.' or not at all, atleast for a while mate. | bingowing

21/3/2012 17:52 | Chaps let's stop getting at each other throats. Most of us have different investment/trading styles and investment objectives and naturally all want to make money. For those who made money trading it, well done. Sorry for investors (shareholders) who got shagged big time. I've never seen before a management declaring that there is no value in shares and suspending trading when clearly the market thought differently. Sad end of affairs for most people involved. Points to learn from this episode: 1. Don't believe anything you hear and only believe half of what you see. 2. Limit exposure to any single stock to a maximum of 10% of your stock market investment cash. 3. If you don't like the management, get out even if the talk is sweet. I've f.... up big time here and need to face my wife. She's heard it on the news but doesn't know the extent of damage. I guess I get shagged twice. The good thing is that I didn't invest the cash reserves, and honest was on the verge a couple of days ago. Sorry for the guys who put most of their money into GMG, and for those who work for their money (invest what is left from salaries). For you fellows those 3 rules apply more than ever. | justthemoney

21/3/2012 17:45 | P white how much of your families money did you lose again? | bingowing
21/3/2012 17:36 | justthemoney is completely delusion if he thinks the board engineered this collapse. Incompetence yes but wilful neglect for personal gain no. Once administrators are appointed the board lose total control. Game is not some tinpot AIM company where administrators are called in for a debt of £200K and then the company is sold back to the directors for £1.00. Game owes £180 million that is serious money. The administrators will take full control of the company. Along with restructure management in RBS they will decide how the debt is to be addressed, what is sold and to whom, which creditors get paid and who stays in their job and who doesn't. Game management will have no say. In fact they're all probably on garden leave right now.. | pwhite73
21/3/2012 16:59 | One good thing to come out of this is the rampers have gone. | pattayaboy
21/3/2012 16:42 | Ninja 19, the shareholder action group for CSLT did ok? It's better to have an action group while the share is still listed!!! | knigel
21/3/2012 16:38 | Ninja, I don't think they need to if someone is prepare to restructure and takeover the business. Anyway I just think it's sad that all the shops in our high streets are one by one being forced out because of the supermarkets. There aren't much things the supermarkets don't sell these days, but unfortunately for us neither the services or qualities are there. Anyway rant over. As for here, I only have a very small amount of shares I bought is for someone to rescue them, anyway in my view the odds were good, so no complaint from me. You never know miracles do happen...LOL! Well done for selling out by the way. Greed control! :) | ham28
21/3/2012 16:27 | Yp, Ninja 19, it was a gamble, on money I could afford to lose...I did say either bust or boom, nothing in between...this time it was bust! Before on HMV it was boom, from 2.5p to 7p! Some you win and some you lose...but I honestly hate seeing just Tesco stores everywhere and high street dieing...in our local town there are 2 tesco express within 100-150meter away and 3 Tesco supermarkets within 1-2miles...and all other high streets are closing down...such as Woolies, Game, Hawkins etc etc However I did belive GAME had value but needed proper restructure...which eventually they will do, but with daylight robbery of Shareholders value! | mali7
21/3/2012 16:19 | Ham The banks will not throw any more good money. | ninja 19

21/3/2012 16:14 | Perhaps the kids should stop playing games allday and do some work! LOL | isis
21/3/2012 16:14 | You lost your money as you speculated now, now you are complaining. I remember very well at 4p you said you were not going to look till 12p. Shareholders action group are for losers. you gambled on black and it's red. Game over, company do not have any equity left. mali7 - 21 Mar'12 - 14:43 - 3885 of 3889 I wondered, if shareholders could set up a group with Blushore to really challenge management??? | ninja 19 |
