25/3/2010 13:54 | Market always overreacts in both directions. | bones30
25/3/2010 13:54 | I think as far as the company is concerned, its business as usual. The fact that Parvizi (amongst others) is being investigated for allegedlly being part of an insider dealing ring is nothing to do with FGN itself. The share price fall has been a total overreaction imo. | someuwin
25/3/2010 13:52 | right..game on 100k buyer appears:-))) | pre
25/3/2010 13:43 | Surprised they've not said anything by now, though if it was a case of "bid off" they'd have surely had to RNS it hours ago. | spectoacc
25/3/2010 13:42 | Just did a dummy sale - MMs are offering .24p premium on a sale of 20K shares Q p.s. bid up again | quidzinn
25/3/2010 13:36 | - hoping to do the same here .... Q | quidzinn
25/3/2010 13:36 | well done Quidzinn:-) | pre
25/3/2010 13:35 | pre - I made £4K on HLO :o) Q | quidzinn
25/3/2010 13:34 | Just look back at recent RNSs - License agreements Patents awarded Development agreements All with major players in Japan, China and USA. i.e Bayer. Truly a global player in the making. "FuturaGene is a leader in plant genetic research and development for the global forestry, biofuel, and agricultural markets. The Group develops sustainable, ecologically sound technology to meet the ever increasing demands for fiber, fuel and food crops in the face of declining and deteriorating land and water resources." | someuwin
25/3/2010 13:29 | ...this is likely to do what HLO did the other day....climb back strongly.... | pre
25/3/2010 13:28 | I'm in with 20 K shares @56p - and that 275K shares looks like a rollover sell/buy to me... Q | quidzinn
25/3/2010 13:27 | there is no direct impact on company imo....business as usual...mm's know the true value here is much much higher.... | pre
25/3/2010 13:25 | i have complained to aim regulation about the lack of clarity following press comment hopefully we will get an rns confirming that bid talks continue and that fgn is unaware of any investigation that concerns the company. | kooba
25/3/2010 13:24 | Looks like the sellers out, buys moving it up. | bones30
25/3/2010 13:24 | somewin.spot on there...can't believe the chance to buy at current levels...way tioo cheap imo with bid at 80p on the cards.... | pre
25/3/2010 13:23 | Buy when it feels like youre chewing glass and all that. Looking at the chart and fundamentals a bid at 80ish would have been a bit of a shame I would have thought. I also like the way CA are in the list of substantial shareholders. | bones30
25/3/2010 13:23 | i don't think it will happen today but the future is bright, quick recovery very soon | hassani2
25/3/2010 13:22 | Yes bones - I've bought back in with a few here. Company is sound with massive potential. too cheap at this level - and a bid on the cards at 80p too. | someuwin
25/3/2010 13:18 | Two big sells. I wonder if they are genuine or Mr Dodgy dumping his holding! Someone is mopping them up at that price. Could be time for the rise back up then. All very strange. | mf10
25/3/2010 13:16 | Well this could be daft but I just nabbed a few. Here's hoping its not. | bones30
25/3/2010 13:08 | Indeed kooba - I'm beginning to think the FGN link is irrelevent to the current FSA probe... "The FT has since learnt that some of the figures embroiled in the probe rank among the City's best-connected and most colourful characters. London's hedge fund community is still reeling from news of the arrest of Mr Roberts, a former senior executive at RBS, who counts some of the City's biggest hedge funds as clients. Nicknamed "Del Boy," former colleagues described him as a "larger than life" figure with a "wicked sense of humour". Mr Dodgson is also a highprofile figure in the world of corporate broking, having worked at five separate banks over the past decade, including Lehman Brothers, UBS and Morgan Stanley. One former colleague described him as "a man in a hurry", who had built up a substantial buy-to-let property empire stretching to many dozens of homes as a sideline to his career in banking. Mr Parvizi is a speculator in small-cap stocks who has taken big stakes in companies including Gold Oil, Minerva and Futuragene in recent years." | someuwin
25/3/2010 13:00 | i do not think the enquiry into parvizi and anderson is anything to do with fgn or their dealings in the shares [though it does appear parvizi purchased stock close to takeover talk disclosure],the city a.m. piece blew the connection up but the investigation will be into bigger situations and goes back to end 2007. | kooba
25/3/2010 12:53 | donn84 - company going from strength to strength - i.e recent contrct wins... poplar trees. Cotton plants with Bayer. Chinese patent for food and non food drought tolerance. Japanese patent for cell wall modification. Chinese licensing agreement for Cotton. Recent approach made at around 80p. Now it turns out Inside traders knew about the potential bid and were buying in - FSA invesigation underway. Maybe the insiders have had to sell today? but the share price has collapsed. Should recover fast imo. | someuwin
25/3/2010 12:42 | Hey, I bought these for 20p back end of 2008. Just after some massive buys at 10p. I since sold about 6months later 35/40p i think. Obviously kept my eye on them since then. Whats the story with this then, can someone explain for new investors. | donn84
25/3/2010 12:26 | it is evoultions "trade of the decade" doesn't look like they are over keen right now! | kooba |
