What about the cash? Cash is all that matters with highly suspicious companies like this.

Buyer beware.

Like it.

Fusionex says it built on momentum achieved in the first half of the 2016 financial year and has continued to deliver on its strategy and make progress throughout the rest of the year.

In particular, the group says it has successfully launched the next generation of its proprietary Big Data Analytics platform, 'GIANT 2016', in June 2016.

It says: " In addition to providing blue-chip enterprise organisations with the most complete BDA software in its space, GIANT 2016 has opened up a new addressable market across small and medium sized businesses ("SMEs"). The pipeline for GIANT 2016 is substantial."

The group says its steady progress has underpinned a strong FY2016 financial performance. The board anticipates that revenue will be in line with market expectations and, despite the significant planned investment in the marketing and promotion of Fusionex's products, EBITDA is expected to be significantly ahead of market expectations.

The board expects the positive momentum experienced in FY2016 to continue in the current year.

No consolidation - share price fell at end of Jan due to very high level of debtors, which the market did not like. The RNS this morning should provide an share price jump :-)

I'm not sure that's true. Was there a consolidation? Were any shares issued?

Interesting. But Microsoft don't dish out (several) awards to randoms or shysters...

I have a friend from Uni who works for a US startup in the world of big data analytics who I asked about Fusionex. He hadn't heard of them but took a look and didn't have anything bad to say. The one point he highlighted though was that the listed customers/testimonials may have been paid evaluations rather than real paid production customers. I hadn't realised that was a thing before so today I emailed one of the testimonial owners. I won't name them because I didn't ask permission to post what they said.

The testimonial reads very positively. It talks about the business they're in and the type of projects. It talks about how they found GIANT easy to use and talks about the user friendly interface. It says they would recommend GIANT and that they work with SME's in the data analytics space. Sounds great doesn't it. A happy customer!

His reply to my email:
"We had a look at it but we are not using it, we were interested in how it might integrate with some decision support support software we were developing.".

So just a little warning that what you may read on their website isn't all that it might be. I have an investment as the numbers look good, but I'm not going to believe a word of their spin unless it's backed up with numbers. And perhaps I'm nuts for staying invested anyway - perhaps I'll think about that a little more. I've been burnt by dishonest management before.

Erm, yes, but if you got the EPS wrong then you also got the PER wrong. They report in Malaysian Ringitt but the share price is in GBP. Does that get you closer to the solution? ;-)

The EPS is not in pence on Stockopedia. :-)

And that 58c is last year's EPS. This year will be negative unless the have a stream of contract wins to move cash flow positive.

If a constant flow of contracts and a forecast by the broker of 744p cant move the sp, what could?

Seriously tempted to buy but still a bit unsure.
Every single aspect of the biz and financials is screaming BUY but...

The house broker released a note cutting forecasts due to the company accerating its product development but unfortunately FXI had not told the markets about this and panic set it.
Low PE?, its foreign and on aim, you can include other companies with the same problem, XLM,SCH,
all doing very well but unliked by british institutions/investors.

just discovered this remarkable co (after doing very well with ALT)

can anybody explain the huge drop in february this year?

Also, why no major movement on such good news?!

And finally, how come such a fabulously low PE ratio doesn't attract more interest, especially with the strong trend the company is showing?

many thx

I prefer the last deal. This is more in line with the longer term strategy, that messed up their short term revenue numbers a while back...
