Are Frontera experiencing "difficulties" with the Georgian authorities? That statement certainly seems to imply as such...

WASHINGTON- Today, Congressman Ted Poe (R-TX) and Congressman Gene Green (D-TX) introduced a bipartisan resolution, H.RES. 576, reaffirming the United States support for the country of Georgia. - October 24, 2017

In recent years, however, American companies have expressed increasing concern regarding the business environment in Georgia, pointing to bureaucratic obfuscation and alleging lingering corruption in some corners of the Georgian government.

As a true friend of Georgia, it falls on my shoulder not only to praise Tbilisi’s progress but also to point out when more work needs to be done to prevent Georgia’s backsliding along its democratic trajectory. H. Res. 576 reaffirms our strong ties with the people and government of Georgia while also calling for a level playing field for American companies operating in the country.
This will undoubtedly benefit both of our countries and strengthen our bilateral relationship for years to come.”

"Breaking commitments to American companies in Georgia would undermine the U.S.-Georgia relationship that both parties have worked to develop. My hope is that Georgia will see fit to honor the rule of law with respect to Frontera Resources"

Anyone got a handle on what this refers to?

There is no way a PI can be sure about going long or short on FRR. A wrong call could mean you being carried out in a coffin. Leave it the likes of EK and those who a £60K loss is easily covered.

Who paying for this pipeline Tickboo? How do they find the Capex fir development and the pipeline even if UD2 flows gas. Only 5 years left on the licenae max so it would need to be some well to justify capex required to get a return. Also a massice pile if debt due in a couple of years so that would need sorting too.

My bet is there will be a 7am one for YA who have probably forward sold most of this month's batch and an intraday ops update to confirm ud-2 testing is going well and will be completed mid Nov and hopefully some commentary re the pipeline and confirmation the oil play is progressing as planned. If I had a short (assuming the ops update isn't more delays and bad news) I'd close. If it's bad news the shorters will do well.

Tickboo you don't have to read or post here. Why are you trying to silence the bears? I want to post here I even pay Advfn a subscription to do so.

FRR has a history of treating shareholders terribly. It's good that investors know the risks here.

Why doesn't everyone chill out and wait to see what comes out of the AGM.

Everyone seems to be repeating the same points, including me!

Jaknife - Yorkvill/YA/YAGM (name changes as each deal seems to be in different funds) have agreed to "only" do $400K of conversion a month but one month they did twice that.

There is also a yearly limit.

However I suppose if they there are problems with the Block 12 license extension into the production phase they may be bigger sellers.

$400K at 0.53 is still 62M shares so over 20 days of trading that's about 3M a day. Not a huge drag on the price but one nonetheless.

Of course they convert at the VWAP on the last five days so they'll get more aggressive at selling before hand getting the VWAP down.

Seems like every time this tries to go north there’s a wall of stock available - broken that head ‘n shoulders to the downside, with conviction now I’d say

Jaknife YA still have a lot of convertibles which they can convert at least at a rate of $400K / month. They can convert the November ones now. It's been about a month since the last conversion.

Yeah I''m ignoring him as the repetition is boring. He's speculating as most are but not saying anything new, just droning on and on.
