Smicker, it's going affect all retailers a lot, but not until 2018 or 2019. All retialers are going to have to renegotiate their banking covenants for when it comes in. It's going to further take accounts from their underlying cashflow - to the point (and I speak as an accountant) where they are almost useless

FCCN turnover 179 million 0 profit market cap 38 million.
BOO turnover 129 million 11ml profit market cap 421 million.
FCCN have plenty of opportunity to turn a good profit.
Great risk reward I would say.

Well, we can only hope he wants to buy the whole thing -- or at least push for greater returns from the current board. Agreed, his investment ought to underpin the case for value here. I cannot recall any arrangement with Dunelm -- I get the impression that chain may be a bit downmarket for FCCN. But who knows what all this will lead to?

No chance he would be positioning to take over the whole thing? At current market cap of less than 40 million he'd pick it up for loose change.

I love to see others in an industry take a shareholding as it suggests that those most capable of properly valuing a business can see that there is value present.
