18/12/2001 15:39 | your FRE shares did indeed become Wanadoo shares NAD - you should have read those letters you know. They are traded in France and are currently around the 6 Euro mark. Analysts currently recommend them as a buy and have a price target of 7 Euro for them. They were hit recently when Dixons sold a chunk to finance their expansion into Europe but are steadily climbing back. Sentiment is improving as T online recently reported positive news for its German operations - a small profit for a quarter I think it was. I have a few NAD and am going to hold . | scarletsman
13/12/2001 20:23 | I upgraded from Freeserve off peak to Anytime recently. The software to do the conversion was a waste of time and I had to make numerous calls to sort it out and each phone call meant a 15 min wait. It is still not working properly and for the last few days, the dial-up number I have has been out of use. No mention is made of this fault on their web site. Is this a way of gaining extra revenue, just disconnect a dial-up number and wait for users to ring the 50p a minute help line? Not impressed. | remus98

20/11/2001 15:20 | I have had problems last night and this morning. Non before however, I have used the service from the start. I tend to agree with maestroman. More advertising = more customers. Too many perhaps. Could be just a temporary error. I hope so! js. | jacsom

14/6/2001 16:20 | the current trading outlook was pretty bad in the prospectus but this seemed inevitable. My thought is that some tracker funds would have to buy some on entry to FTSE350, it should be priced to succedd in the short term. | glennborthwick

31/3/2001 17:24 | ROGER. you can track wanadoo and other continental european stocks at www.europeaninvestor I also hold wanadoo and other French stocks and IMO French co's do well in France as the population support home grown co's. Wanadoo is quite big in Spain and Holland too. I think the shares are worth holding for the very long term. | weidnerworld
