I like the fact the announcement has to include "very important"

I'd hate to see a very very very important announcement.

Perhaps there is going to be 'The SW Effect'

😉

Some posters will be calling him 'Stephen' by the end of play today!

if xytech is the first of many, then this becomes rather exciting

When all said and done, its just a partnership (beginning in June 19) with potentially some revenues.

Again, it seems, FBT are dependant on others to sell their product!

An interesting tie up with, what looks like a good company.

Well done to the FBT team

IMHO and GLA

...and the punch is in the final line of the PR:
"Our partnership with Xytech is perfectly aligned with our strategic OEM model for Blackbird as we gain further market adoption in the key US market and beyond."

So this is the first tangible sign of the OEM strategy IM has been pursuing producing a result (though there are similarities in the bundling of Blackbird with TownNews too)

It's an RNS Reach but at least it's a sign that they are winning something.

Integration into MAM systems must be the way to achieve significant distribution

Nice confirmation I noticed them on our social media feeds sometime ago so I was hoping they partnered with us.

Note NBC Sports has in the past been a user of their product which we are integrating with.

Good
We have to work and partner with other media technology companies otherwise we don’t have a future in the professional video market.

Not sure how that is delusional it’s just connecting one service to another that will benefit clients.

It’s an eco system of competing companies but everything and everyone has to work together otherwise they will be rejected.
