27/3/2019 23:20 | Fair enough that you think that but a couple of us investors got some great info from that presentation which was probably aimed at only a handful of investors anyway. Personally I don’t believe the business is fit to attract a wider group of investors yet for obvious reasons. FBT is a hardcore high risk Blue Sky Speculation share we already seem to have investors here that are wrong stage investors who then complain so it’s unfair to try and attract new investors who can not accept the high risk of this kind of share. They need to perhaps wait until things are clearer in my view. Exciting times but much more needs to happen on deals before this share can be recommended to ‘normal investors’ rather than us delusional ones😁 All imho of course. | nickb
27/3/2019 21:15 | NickB, Ok, but it should not be out there. There are professional ways of doing these things. Sadly, I thought it was embarrassing. | horneblower
27/3/2019 20:31 | hornblower I don’t think the demo was meant to be official and slick but just a sneak peek for shareholders. | nickb
27/3/2019 20:07 | H/Blower Overall agree, the tech, IMHO, and Mr Streater's efforts are very impressive with wide ranging utility and scope for great success. The tech parts of the presentation were very good, the answering of potential and existing shareholders questions was unconvincing and We are still awaiting 'all' those 7 figure deals promised. Good Luck with your Investment (As I believe you bought in recently) | paulcon1
27/3/2019 18:03 | The presentation is the same as the forscene one with a new name. | bonio10000
27/3/2019 17:51 | Not a good demonstration of the player imo. Enthusiastic? yes; impressive visuals? yes: explains why it fills a need in the market? no; explains how it will make profit? no; professionally presented? absolutuly not. IM standing behind SS nodding like a buffoon and SS showing his daughter...absolute no nos. Totally amateurish. Looks a really great product but completely let down by the presentation imo. | horneblower
27/3/2019 16:54 | I wonder if it’s possible to post a java script Blackbird encoded Video into an advfn thread? Be a cool feature for advfn. | nickb
27/3/2019 16:52 | Can always rely on MK thank you MK | nickb
27/3/2019 16:25 | hxxps://www.piworld. | cabi1
27/3/2019 15:51 | Farr The video can be found here: I try maintain links to stories or videos that get posted here in the google docs in the header In this case it's in "Featured video history" under sharesoc - the top entry. | _m_k
27/3/2019 15:13 | Farr The Player was demonstrated at the November investor meeting a video was uploaded. Sorry I don’t have a link | nickb
27/3/2019 14:33 | "clipping and sharing" it's instant with the player, no re-rendering. big leap to put a new video player like this in front of consumers though - so many devices and browser types. if it doesn't work for even a tenth of a percent of the users on your average social media platform then you could have upwards of one million disenfranchised customers. with commercial users you ensure the right equipment is in place to main it work all the way through the pipeline, in the consumer field it's like the wild west in comparison. unless u can be sure it will work it might be the kind of thing you package up as a link that is only enlivened if the software detects ur on a good enough platform. another good feature would be the ability to share stills from a video, not just video itself - because blackbird is frame accurate this is not only doable but quite unique i would have said. | _m_k
27/3/2019 13:41 | Just a Thought 🤔 Once the public Player is available then it allows End to End Blackbird workflow. Very fast for Sports with the ability of consumers clipping and sharing on social media platforms all under rights management for the owner. Could The Player be the missing link to riches? | nickb
27/3/2019 13:35 | Chris Maybe the price is too expensive? What if ‘cost savings’ is marketing speak? | nickb
27/3/2019 13:17 | We also had the confirmation of the US sports pilot being adopted. The RNS of the pilot was so material that the conversion helped contribute to a fall in sports income. | bonio10000
27/3/2019 11:25 | Actually potential investors are pretty hard nosed. This company has made lots of promises almost all of which are unfulfilled. Indeed since IM was appointed I think there have been 2 RNS reporting an extension of the TownNews contract and the MSG link. The third RNS was even on their own admission far short of the £ required. Others have said that these type of contracts take 2 years plus but in that time period the potential customer has no access to the time and cost savings... or do they? If they are not paying for savings they shouldn't get any as nobody values freebies. Perhaps the reason they are not selling is that the price is too cheap? If it really delivers substantial cost savings why is there not a queue to the door... because the price says otherwise. | chriscallen
27/3/2019 11:08 | EU Approved player? | nickb
27/3/2019 10:59 | "Has anyone heard anything at all about the new viewer" possibly some fanfare at nab to look forward to wonder if the eu copyright directive could help its case presently the data stream is a fixed standard and the players are also for all intents (decoders even burnt into hardware on mobile devices?) with forbidden's tech both of these can be flexed, the player could even be unique per user / content i would have thought | _m_k
27/3/2019 10:54 | If I read 'these are exciting times for FBT' one more time , I may have to scream..... 😝 | paulcon1
27/3/2019 10:25 | Farr At the Sharesoc presentation (Nov) when the Viewer and its 21 unique features was mentioned, the timescale mentioned for readiness was 'a matter of months' That's open to interpretation but all things considered it should be round about now. Maybe they are targeting (NAB 8-11th April) GL | paulcon1 |
