07/1/2019 12:53 | Both blackbird.video and forbidden.co.uk seem to be offline at present. Could it presage an upadte of the sites or even some significant news? Probably somebody has accidentally pulled the plug. | chriscallen
07/1/2019 12:24 | Shy tott The company is chasing what’s called Enterprise Contracts so Yes they are on going. | nickb
07/1/2019 11:21 | Shy Tott, this is also worth a read if you’ve not seen it. hxxps://www.pressrea | cabi1
07/1/2019 11:18 | Shy Tott. Check out recent presentation. | cabi1
07/1/2019 11:09 | Are the contracts fbt signs generally on going each year - i.e. are the contracts cummulative and would that more or less guarantee rising turnover and profit? Thanks. | shy tott
07/1/2019 11:05 | IM also mentioned at the ShareSoc presentation that there was a live POC with a major U.S network which was coming to an end and has been successful. | cabi1
07/1/2019 10:48 | Based on what IM said about "several", three or more RNS should be coming up in H1 together with quite a number of smaller but nevertheless noteworthy deals which would merit a press release. | chriscallen
07/1/2019 09:55 | McSean HNY! Agree, if the tech has increased in value by circa £5m in the past two years then it should be deemed a success. The buyout scenario is the ideal solution, not sure Mr Streater agrees though! GLM | paulcon1
07/1/2019 08:31 | I wonder when we will get IM's first wholly delivered commercial RNS. | bonio10000
07/1/2019 00:28 | Hi Paul et al, There's a 2019 thread. In answer to your question, I would say, more substance to the hype. I think the patent is a strong selling point for a potential buyout. Fingers crossed... | mcsean2164
06/1/2019 22:35 | Wonder when we will get the first commercial rns of the year...Q1? | geheimnis2
04/1/2019 15:18 | The levels of buffoonery seem fairly consistent to me. Maybe it's time to ditch Cowboy Boot Friday, lads? | geheimnis2
04/1/2019 15:16 | Its coming up to 2 years since the previous CEO left FBT, has the company improved/grown since his departure? If so how? And if not why? GLA | paulcon1
03/1/2019 18:57 | 2019 and bonio is still filtered | nickb
03/1/2019 17:06 | Max came to us from a post production facility as post production manager and he is basically returning to that type of job but internally at discovery. We are a technology company not a media company and most Post people will want to be involved in media creation. I don’t see what his career move has got to do with us investors. Plus we need a US based ‘max’ if anything. That’s the way I see it from outside the company. I would not read anything into it I wish Max well. | nickb
03/1/2019 16:39 | If Stephen White is coming on as Chief Operating Officer then, presumably, it makes Max McG's post of Head of Operations redundant. | invest360
03/1/2019 15:19 | ChrisC Totally agree - For all the possible potential that FBT has, key personnel leaving on mass can also be negative for FBT and positive for competitors. 2018 is now over with a potential financial loss of £2-2.25M and a CEO (after 16 months) with not one RNS worthy contract win directly attributed to him.... After 19 years FBT still offers 'great technology, massive financial potential yet insufficient revenue' GL and IMHO | paulcon1
03/1/2019 15:02 | I'm not sure I would view Max as deadwood when quite a few senior people would be more deserving of that appellation. Max was "Head of Operations and Customer Success" and I would be a little concerned at his leaving based on what his profile, presumably approved by FBT as it was on their site, says. "I have worked across the implementation of projects which include remote location ingest and cloud access as well as integration with AWS and Microsoft Azure. I am team lead and project supervisor on an significant MS Azure cloud sports distribution client workflow, that provides editing platform services for up to 16 simultaneous sports feeds during 2018 and 2019. More recently; I have won new business providing fixed rig location 'live' logging for a BAFTA award winning media production client, and, a 'on-location' ingest workflow using our native Mac Edge virtual server running on Mac Pro laptops. I am Blackbird account manager for Deltatre, IMG, Monoto, All3media, Two Four, ITV, BBC, Channel 5, Envy, and Evolutions." He seems to have worked on some important clients and contacts so the question must be "why did he leave?" at this critical point given that the breaking of any key relationship can open the door for competitors. | chriscallen
03/1/2019 14:22 | BRING BACK VIC STEEL #morebuffoooneryin20 | geheimnis2
03/1/2019 14:21 | Another piece of deadwood out of the door.Back in the day, Jason Cowan I think, there tweets of visits to Discovery.Pretty much only leaves Neil Roberts. No doubt another sign of hyper growth. | bonio10000
03/1/2019 12:43 | Perhaps that’s why the hired him! Discovery’s Gold Rush used to use Forscene | nickb
03/1/2019 12:24 | Let's hope he brings Blackbird to the discovery channel! | mcsean2164
03/1/2019 12:16 | Good luck to max | nickb |
