25/1/2024 17:34 | Ameriprise are a highly acquisitive group, previously acquiring BMO amongst a few others in recent years. Looks like FSG could be their next target? Gresham House were recently snapped up by Searchlight Capital and FSG are a pretty similar outfit - wouldn't be surprised to see a bid come through here. | riverman77
23/1/2024 15:55 | Presumably Ameriprise Financial subscribes... | dassera
18/1/2024 12:34 | tightfist - re Zulu screen FSG in and Journeo out | roghart1
14/11/2023 19:19 | Nice rise today off the back of US inflation data. | peddlers
10/11/2023 12:07 | Target 550 | peddlers
30/10/2023 10:55 | The buy back should see a nice boost in the share price From a chart point of view we are in oversold territory. As we move into the coming months we should hopefully start to see good quality, undervalued stocks increasing in price. Foresight are one of these stocks imo. P. | peddlers
03/10/2023 11:29 | Must have been updated recently. Now showing update on 10th October. hxxps://www.foresigh | jm65
03/10/2023 11:26 | Yes, FSG are teetering on the edge of the Zulu screen, (marginal on relative strength). The Zulu screen seems to have done well in the long run, do you know how much share churn it has experienced? Currently it only screens FSG and Journeo - the criteria do look pretty stretching! | tightfist
02/10/2023 14:18 | That was last year, so could be similar. | lomax99
02/10/2023 10:47 | I thought the results were meant to come out today. Any news on this? | thebeast1
28/9/2023 17:37 | Ex div for 15.5p today Also, I just noticed this one passes Stockopedias Zulu screen. On the Uk list it is one of only 2 companies to do so. | thorpematt
19/9/2023 11:44 | Fingers crossed for next Tuesday then :) | jm65
19/9/2023 11:41 | Plus the push through the recent 500 level appears quite strong | peddlers
19/9/2023 11:38 | I focus more on the fundamentals these days but from a chart point of view it's bouncing off the 200 ema line quite nicely. Definitely support there. | peddlers
18/9/2023 12:56 | I like them too...lots of Director Sells though. | jm65
18/9/2023 12:05 | Bought some Foresight shares. Solid fundamentals Good luck all. P. | peddlers
21/7/2023 07:33 | Technically now broken out, which is encouraging. Interesting discussion riverman and spectoacc. I have plenty of these stocks because I thought the yields would prove defensive in the current market. I'm not sure the basic business model is broken (or doesn't work) but I'm far from confident in longer term prospects because the divis do look rather like money from thin air! | hiddendepths
19/7/2023 12:57 | Interesting move. Green infrastructure getting noticed off the back of Cerberus and peaking interest rates? | brucie5
19/7/2023 12:41 | Yes just shot up again now - perhaps a tip or maybe more investors switching from GHE. I guess there aren't many alternatives in the rapidly shrinking UK market. | riverman77
19/7/2023 12:25 | Market seems to be waking-up to the value here, with reference to the Gresham House premium perhaps... | strollingmolby
19/7/2023 12:23 | Yes but that should all be factored in by the NAVs which are based on future expected cashflows, with an appropriate discount rate applied. That's how infrastructure funds are typically valued. You're right they're not trading companies, so would never value them on earnings or even assets, but rather on future cashflows. | riverman77
19/7/2023 11:15 | Fair point, depends what's in the price. But the yield feels fake on many of them - particularly solar & wind - as they don't own the ground, only a lease over it, and the assets need renewal after [pick a date, but say 25-35 years]. That's very different to a trading co - this is just sweating the cashflows, taking a very tidy fee, paying out the remainder, and nothing bar grid connections and the hope of a new lease available at the end. | spectoacc |
