Saad did a good job imo which is yet to be reflected in the share price He seemed an honourable man and my concern is he left out of principle as 70% institutional base might see the pi's as an incumberance and will do back door deals. Hope I'm wrong. I usually am.

I fear results will be grim! If they were anything else the CEO would have stayed IMHO

Remember the "Hosking Partners LLP (acting as Investment Manager for discretionary client portfolios)" buy rns, thought this was an industry buyer. Could be an actiivist.

So who's in the frame for the new CEO job?

Until the results are made public I think it is a bit premature to say nothing has changed in the fundamentals. The very fact that the CEO has suddenly departed should at least introduce a sceptical watch until then.

Waiting for the dust to settle here. I think this is purely a boardroom split/spat, or shareholder activism. Business ok otherwise imo. Not a popular guy in the company apparantly, but innitiated a good turnaround imo.

More like a rollarcoaster than an airline! Hence buy the dips!

"Lead the recovery at Flybe over the last three years", that's some recovery, share price has gone from 140 to todays 35 over the same period.

That is a bad news item full stop. Hope no one got burnt too much.

Very ugly fall. Could see a V bottom though. Would be a classic shake. But this could get uglier.

Saad been with flybe for 3 years.Look at the 3 year chart and call it a "turnaround" if you can.

there's going to be a carrier bust soon and consolidation......only the leanest will survive...Brexit and the pound crunch combined with oil rising is the death knoll for many smaller inefficient operators

To early to call imo.

Wait to see how bad results are.

Could be a good buying op.

I really liked Saad... proactive and competent

Flybe has horrible history of shareholder returns. Looks like company strategic review coming

Time for a cull of loss making routes with the usual exceptional losses before a stockmarket delisting

S P now sliping :as expected: trying to invest on the stock market these days is more like gambling at the casino. Companies you "might" expect to be pretty stable turn out to be quite the oposite. Aim is bad enough but other sectors are getting just as bad.Just....maybe a 1% Isa looks dam good in comparison......K

Can only think capacity growth too fast for bums on seats. Seems to be a new route every week which may work in stable macro economic environment but with $ so strong as evidenced by Ryanair & Ezj results something had to give.
