16/8/2016 16:37 | Eurotunnel strike likely to help Flybe? | che7win
16/8/2016 16:30 | Sandoval, I dont see how the market can ignore reality for much longer. The facts seem clear that its business as usual, and some. Imo, the brokers over reacted to brexit in general, and have been proved wrong. The travel sector been ignored by investors, but now certain brokers are having to rethink advice. | kmann
16/8/2016 14:08 | Should help to fill Flybe's 12 million seat capacity 2017 bar any disasters. | sandoval
16/8/2016 09:53 | Just to back up what I'm saying. MANCHESTER - UP EDINBURGH - UP GLASGOW - UP DONCASTER - UP Cornwall - UP So where is all this end of the world doom that were being told? Once travellers get the bug they go back for more. Regional air travel is just going to grow imo, more destinations, less taveling time, less hassel. Great for city breaks and holidays. So passengers up, costs redudced. The perfect storm for growth imo. | kmann
15/8/2016 20:19 | Above average volume today. Most airlines recovering post brexit now. As far as im aware most regional airports reporting increased numbers, inc those serviced by flybe. Staycation air travel is increasing, particuarly from london to scotland, popularity of Flybes new regional routes to europe has taken off, increase in codeshare utilisation should prove outstanding with the influx of tourism thanks to the low pound, and brexit business trips all pushing flybe traffic numbers up from what i can ascertain. So looks like the flybe turnaround plan is working, with no adverse effect from brexit. So many elements that are growing, and they ALL add up. This could bring a significant rerate imo. edit ALL airline stock up in the US | kmann
15/8/2016 09:56 | Another code share with air berlin, "ich ein berliner" | kmann
15/8/2016 09:05 | The brokers have now decided the sector is healthier than feared after brexit, so reccomending a buy/add. I guess the pre brexit broker valuations have more credibilty than the current set. BUY 75p (120 on confirmed fundamentals) | kmann
13/8/2016 10:46 | My son flew Southampton/Rennes on Wednesday.Plane full! | trewinney
12/8/2016 21:12 | Flybe's Tobin Q ratio = 0.15 | muffinhead
12/8/2016 20:53 | yes Easyjet shares up 4% today or £175 million increase in market valuation. Got to smile, the one day move was twice the market capitalisation of Flybe Tui reporting yesterday may have helped | muffinhead
12/8/2016 15:15 | .............eventua | europa79
10/8/2016 10:47 | EZJ recovering from post brexit wounds. Sentiment will return here | europa79
09/8/2016 20:14 | Looks like a lot of people are still selling! Surely the underlying performance is not that bleak IMO. | dahhad
07/8/2016 09:49 | It feels like the stock is gaining some stability here perhaps. These have not been my best long term investment I have to say but I do feel these are now achieving some stability. One can only hope. | chickenrun1
05/8/2016 17:54 | Buy back for cancellation is good. Buy back and GIVE away most certainly isn't. Even if the shares are temporary locked away. A month ago the forecasts (Digitalook) was for PT of £14m. Now it is £3.76m. Like last year, constantly revised downwards. If directors are given shares, they should have a higher redemption price. In the case of this company, that should be higher than the last fund raise. Directors get a very generous pay package as it is. The directors obviously don't have control over £/$. It was just a general comment on the company's fortunes. I thought the aircraft deal seemed pretty good. Anyway, GLA. Usage of Northolt will be positive if it comes about. | g8ta
05/8/2016 15:53 | GSK was a good employer, they gave you one for one so a sort of bogof share scheme and 10% of your salary bonus if co made target profit which they did every year when I was there. Ah - the good old days. Lucky if you got a job these days. Saad doing what he can; he cant change OP or $ or Brexit etc | sandoval
05/8/2016 14:47 | Nothing unusual to be enriching themselves after the stock has slumped, if they think they can do such a good job they should e buying stock in the market themselves, not the company using its cash to reward them for their failures.Still, I guess they need to support the share price somehow. | clocktower
05/8/2016 14:11 | It is healthy that management and employees are aligned with shareholders. Personally think they are getting a bargain but what do I know "£/$/Euro collapse" will be resolved through cost-push airfare inflation or airports reducing their costs for airlines. These things are not linear and the industry readapts to the new reality The shares will be vested next year so fewer shares sloshing about for daytraders. AGM allowed for release of £20 million for this purpose. It is a share buyback simples | muffinhead
05/8/2016 13:39 | So the buyback has started. If you wernt expecting this then you dont live in the real world imo. You can look at several ways, they are either greedy sod's, or its part of every day corperorate business, or they are ACTUALLY making progress and have confidence in the future. I see the latter. They can hardly be held resonsible for the £/$/Euro collapse can they. | kmann
04/8/2016 22:39 | "Employee alignment with shareholders through a proposed 5% of salary share grant that will be implemented by September" Wages and Salaries - £82m, so that's £4.1m share grant. ... per year. Purchase from market or dilution through new issue? Either way it's value destruction for current holders Wish the company I work for gave me shares. Forecasts slashed to almost breakeven for the year. Weak pound makes the aircraft purchase this year more expensive. More aircraft, more staff - see 5% of salary above. Directors, along with most PLC directors, just PATT. May is not going to stop it. Only thing going for this is cheap fuel/hedge unwind. Had enough. Another disaster. Sold. | g8ta
04/8/2016 21:20 | JerseySame thoughts.Annoying. | anony mous
04/8/2016 19:50 | Thoroughly well deserved rewards for the Executive Directors.....NOT!!! | jerseyman1
04/8/2016 19:11 | Sneaky after hours share awards. | che7win
04/8/2016 16:12 | BOE statement good for business imo, which means more traveling. I would also have thought businesses are out to do as many deals as they can given the freedom to negotiage after brexit. hxxp://vww.emirates2 | kmann |
