26/11/2010 10:05 | I had a letter some time ago saying that they proposed to delist and take the company private. I voted against that - I would rather see the business wound up now so that I can claim the loss against gains (do you remember them?) elsewhere. I haven't heard the outcome of that vote - but I suspect that the dirs got their way. I don't expect to see anything from this investment - a shame as I am sure that wood chips are being used in some power stations. | david77
25/11/2010 20:15 | Thanks david77. the frustration with a nominee account is knowig when that happens. When is it likely and how are you statying in touch with news? | madengland
21/11/2010 07:47 | Wait for the dirs to spend the remaining cash and then claim a loss when the company is wound up against future gains elsewhere. There are two free on-line calculators - one on www.stonebanks.co.uk (which I use) and another at www.CGTcalculator.co | david77
20/11/2010 23:52 | so what if anything can we do with our holding? | turbotrader2
14/10/2010 15:28 | I have a large holding and get the periodic reports mailed to me | asparks
14/10/2010 15:17 | Thanks david77. I realise the nominee bit, so the website had been my source of (lack) information. asparks I am guessing you are not a helpful source of any information, or can you confirm where you get the ReEnergy story from? | madengland
14/10/2010 13:22 | I have CREST account with Fastrade and was sent a certificate when the shares were suspended. My name is on the company's share register. I was sent info recently including a voting form on delisting. I haven't heard the result of that vote. If your shares are in a nominee account you don't get any info from the company. | david77
14/10/2010 13:13 | ask the co. | asparks
14/10/2010 12:54 | ReEnergy have been trading for several years from what I can tell? Where are people gaining any info on what is happening/could be happening? | madengland
11/10/2010 17:37 | I think that they are delisting - means we can't sell and realise the loss. I voted against the recent proposals - I would prefer the company to be wound up but I doubt if my votes with a few shares left will make much difference. Seemed a good idea when I bought the shares. We can't win 'em all, I suppose, but I'd like to win a few. | david77
11/10/2010 16:18 | they are now ReEnergy | asparks
11/10/2010 15:38 | does anyone know what has happened to this company there website seems to have disapeared | 16charlie
31/8/2010 10:13 | Thanks David77. Any idea what the key dates are? | madengland
22/8/2010 10:00 | Good question Turbotrader2 - and if we can't sell then we can't close our positions and use the loss against gains elsewhere :o( | david77
21/8/2010 22:28 | so who can buy the ahres if we wanted to sell? | turbotrader2
21/8/2010 18:03 | Thanks David77 | sg31
21/8/2010 14:42 | 1: They want to take the company private - FibreGen Ltd instead of plc 2: Bondholders have accepted 90% of the company @ 3p/share FibreGen would not have been able to repay the bondholders so would have been insolvent - I guess that a value of 3p on our shares is a little better than zero! but not much - I paid 155p/share!! 3: T2M Investments (who??) will own 5% and FBG shareholders will own 5% of Emerald Bio-Energy Ltd - who own a 100,000 ton/year wood pelleting plant on Canada. It burnt down last year - it has been rebuilt with a Canadian$1.3 million loan and is producing about 50% of capacity - limited by sales. | david77

21/6/2010 16:24 | Does anyone have a scooby doo when we will get any news or likely outcome? | madengland
21/3/2010 18:06 | I don't think so - the dirs are still using up the remaining funds - I've got so much CGT losses that it doesn't make much difference to me if these are written off anytime over the next 10 years :-( | david77
20/3/2010 15:26 | david77, 15:1 share consolidation. can these be written off yet? | chartsmart
10/3/2010 08:32 | My computer crashed a week or so ago and I have been trying to recreate CGT files and I was trying to work out why I have less FBG shares than I bought as LNR. | david77 |
