01/2/2013 14:44 | It is my understanding that a trading statement is only required if actual figures are expected to be greater than 10% lower or higher than indicated. Whether this is a formal rule or a market convention I don't know. | v11slr
01/2/2013 14:04 | Cause there is good news ahead , thats why. | hvs
01/2/2013 13:53 | The legal requirement is here: The IMS was issued on 8/11/12. Many companies issue a trading statement around their year end. FWEB has done so for the last 4 years so the question is why not this year? | sharw
01/2/2013 13:43 | No worries Sleep well all, and watch it shoot on results day. | hvs
01/2/2013 13:38 | full year 01/03/2013..4 weeks | saripoos
30/1/2013 12:57 | lol !!!! When will you learn lionelw ? The poor news is now HISTORY , the decks have been cleared, now is the time to keep on accumulating for the next 5 years and leave it all to the grandchildren. | hvs
29/1/2013 07:42 | sharw, Fiberweb (India) Ltd - sounds like there is, once was or ougght to be some connection don't you think? With those dates, in an IQ test I wuld guess the answer to be somewhere 1 or 2 weeks ago for 2013. But in reality, if the interim statement happens at all it should be quite soon because they will surely present the full 2012 results within a few weeks - unless there is some poor news so they are delaying that too. | lionelw
28/1/2013 12:23 | Lionel - you brought the matter up so I thought you knew the answer! There is no mention of the Indian company on page 100 of There is no mention of a parent company here: I think you may be clutching at straws in the hope of finding the answer to the question "What is next in the following sequence?": 17 Dec 2008 15 Dec 2009 07 Jan 2011 13 Jan 2012 | sharw
28/1/2013 11:15 | what has Fiberweb India Ltd got to do with FWEB?? Does anybody think they used to be related somehow? | lionelw
28/1/2013 10:33 | what does that mean re uk holdings or company | saripoos
27/1/2013 19:52 | better late than never Fiberweb India Ltd has informed BSE that a meeting of the Board of Directors of the Company will be held on January 30, 2013, inter alia, ... | lionelw
23/1/2013 15:53 | if you hold on, this will eventually doubel from here, in my irrelevent opinion, but there is a nice profit fro you already - maybe you to take it while you can. A company with safe 300m sales, relatively cash rich with best products and reputation in most areas it is working in should soon be making 30m profit in a 2013 or 2014 (probably twice the profit they will announce in the results in February) and then even at a multiple of 10 it wouldl be valued at 130p or more (not to mention all their assets). If there are no bad surprises and oil stays below $100 there should be along way up from here fro the share price On the other hand, in your position, a bird in the bush ... You will obviously do what is best in your financial situation. I hope you make lots of money! | lionelw
23/1/2013 15:22 | GREEDY OR FEAR OF BETTER THINGS TO COME..PROB END UP EGGG ON FACE | saripoos
23/1/2013 14:51 | so at 72p to sell today your 33% up with the 2 divis you've picked up in that tim. What more do you want from such a bet? | lionelw
23/1/2013 14:43 | BOUGHT AT 56 JUST OVER YEAR AGO | saripoos
23/1/2013 14:33 | look at RNS relesease fo last few years, usually 1st friday of Jan, sometimes 2nd Fri in Jan. They missed both so far this time so probably soemthing to be concerned about if you already hold saripoos. | lionelw
23/1/2013 14:27 | WHEN IS TRADING STATEMENT DUE | saripoos
23/1/2013 14:19 | you may be right againPJ (I have no idea how you do it,, but you turn up just when things are about to happen to the price!) - it seems there are lot of people wanting sell at 72p but the price does not want to go down. So maybethere is someone a bit bigger adding FWEB to their portfoli withe a longer term outloook. 72.5p is still the key according to my charts. Then the brokers 80p will also need to revised if the trading statement is good. But since it's late, that is usually a bad sign. You'll soon find out. | lionelw
23/1/2013 09:27 | Apologies chaps - got my dates wrong. But still very pleased I took up all of my rights and piled in at the 40p low point - so looking very good now! Edging up daily and chart looking very positive. Time to buy again for you I expect Lionel! | philjeans
21/1/2013 14:46 | PJ - please leave a note here when you've finished selling FWEB for the day so your followers here (hi Saripoos and hvs) "Don't be hasty here". By thetime you're done, this wil drop to 70 by close. Breakout, sure, whatver you say. | lionelw
21/1/2013 10:33 | He's back! The rights I read about were at 60p, not 40p. To double that investment you nee 120p. Are you sure the trading statement will be any better than the usual 'raw material prices have gone up so our profits are not what we expected', 'we had an unexpected "non-recuring" 3m cost adversley efffecte profit', 'we will reduce the divi some more', followed by some big PDMR selling? | lionelw
21/1/2013 10:33 | There was a rights issue at 60p in March 2011. How did you manage to pay 40p last year? | sharw
21/1/2013 09:04 | Breaking out - t/s to come? So glad I took all my rights at 40p last year - heading for an easy doubler in my ISAs. Don't be hasty here - more to come. | philjeans |
