Can't see why this is weaker this morning to me its all good news its moving forward,I think they probably have a partner lined up for Moonlight already as they have known the SA so called BVI partners were not going to come through.

The Zinc project in Spain is going forward and to be honest that I think you will find is the jewel in the crown and expect some news soon on this as well any further drop and I will be buying more its a case of a bit more patience :)

From LSE

Justin most definitely said he couldn't buy stock himself or tell us what was going on because it would be illegal due to ongoing negotiations?
Can anyone see any hint of what these might be ? It must be something that's stopped him buying for over a year now ?
I have read and re read this RNS and i must have missed something ? surely he wasnt telling fibs ? I cant see any ongoing reason either to justify his claims of an end of year high for the share price all be it a little late ?

Quite agree Black. Think Indaba might present some useful opportunities this year.

We're due quarterlies shortly, then hopefully, hopefully, we might even find out something about Moonlight - which we haven't since TR left. (except that BVI didn't come up with the goods).

Wait, wait, wait !

IMHO, DYOR.

absolutely agree Andrea, you can fool the majority of PI's who, let's face it, going on the LSe board, don't really have a clue what they are doing.....but you cant fool the markets and institutional investors. the management has to prove itself , we have had the talk which frankly was pretty poor, now we need to see some serious action. Something that shows they have chosen a direction and are capable of delivering. Only then will the markets take them seriously IMHO.

Don't know if anyone has seen the rise in Beowulf (BEM) today,(up 25%) on vaguely positive drill results, but still no decision on their imminent mining licence decision from the Swedish Govt due on 28th Feb.

The comparison with FCR is that BEM has only half the Iron Ore Reserve of FCR (currently with no mining licence) and no Spanish Zinc Deposit , as FCR have.

BEM were in the wilderness for 4 years, plagued by low commodity prices and a poor CEO, and yet their market cap has risen from £5m a year ago, to £62m today. That level is 12 times FCR's mkt cap today. (i.e.2.86p per share equivalent to FCR).

It would be interesting to see wot would actually happen to FCR if they actually came out with some positive news, instead of all the shilly-shallying we have seen over the past 6 months or so ?

IMHO, DYOR, GLA

I dont know what to make of this

"Mr Read, a UK resident, has acted as a strategic and communications consultant to Ferrum Crescent for seven years,"

If there is a failing at FCR at the moment i would say it is in recent communication ?

At least the stupid podcasts have stopped. I wonder if its common sense or if he is just frightened of the awkward questions. I suspect its common sense as awkward questions have been dodged with the ..."not allowed to tell you" line in the past.

For the benefit of the Board. 10m tonnes of Zinc @ $2500 /tonne Divide by £:$1.2 = £20.8 billion. Divide by 2.5 bn shares in issue = 833p per share. This is total metal in the ground.

1% of 833p = 8.33p /share. (very conservative estimate of current net value per share at this early stage in the development process).

IMHO, DYOR, GLA.

3p would be life changing for me now.

"When the market will finally wake up to this, goodness knows ! Perhaps it will be when the penny finally drops with a decent Institution,"

I think the management need to prove themselves. The company is partly valued on its assets in the ground but more so on the management's ability to extract those assets at a viable cost. The 800p figure is in the ground, how far that drops depends on the above. I cant see institutions being interested in this as a fractional penny share. A consolidation 100/1 might get them interested but it would come with the disadvantage of managements renewed ability to place more shares ....

Well you're rather guilding the lilly there Pat.

If I'm honest, I think that valuations of 8p per share are possible for Toral when fully developed, and potentially another 5 to 6p per share for Moonlight, depending what comes out of the Ether on that one. I have made those calculations using a "shares in issue" figure of 4 billion (compared to the current 2.5bn), just to be on the pessimistic side.

Would I be happy with a total of 14p per share, over the next 2 to 3 years - yes I would !

IMHO, DYOR.

One thing I forgot to say, Re: placings. FCR can only raise money currently through placings or by taking on debt. I know which I prefer.

If something is happening with Moonlight and Spain, then clearly FCR needed the money to develop those projects - they had no choice. In a way , its encouraging, as it means that something must be happening, for them to need the money.

IMHO, DYOR, GLA.
