17/11/2016 01:34 | That was a good day :-) Onward and upwards now hopefully! | lauders
16/11/2016 12:42 | I dont quite understand this - I have been a holder for six months - been waiting for today's results which,in my opinion showed little prospect of much hope, the numbers were poor, I sold 09:30, the price rockets. Doesn't make sense to me - the only glimmer of hope was wishful thinking statement by a the MD - price rises 10% | butler4
16/11/2016 12:32 | I haven't read the update as I'm busy today but clearly the market likes it. I'm inclined to stay in this trade a while longer | cc2014
16/11/2016 08:53 | Decent update news -worth a read through. Could be finally heading back towards 300p? | meijiman
09/11/2016 15:16 | The Trump effect: | valhamos
09/11/2016 14:57 | There is alot of positive background news at the moment -not least rising coal prices which is I think there biggest market for belting. As profits for coal increase then these belts should get renewed more often. | meijiman
03/10/2016 13:45 | Very nicely breached so far! | lauders
01/10/2016 02:02 | Good to see 200p hit. Now to see whether it can breach the barrier and continue northwards. | lauders
28/9/2016 12:25 | Come on FENR! You can make that 200p. As Alphahunter posted coal seems to be in the limelight a bit more recently, although I admit I haven't followed it in detail. Just a feeling from bits here and there noted in passing. | lauders
16/9/2016 14:46 | Coal price rises should help kick off a higher capital spending cycle boosting demand for belting. | meijiman
16/9/2016 14:22 | Not long to go until 200p is breached. Could be tough to stay above that for a while! | lauders
08/9/2016 15:35 | I did toy with topping up when they were really low as I believe them to be a good company but as similar recent cases have continued down after I did top up, didn't have the courage to make the leap of faith. | bouleversee
08/9/2016 15:04 | Quite a bit for me too bouleversee. Luckily I did not invest a great deal here but it still isn't nice being under. Will hopefully get back to the low 200s soon so getting better. The last couple of days have certainly helped! | lauders
07/9/2016 16:37 | Still a helluva long way to go before the share price gets back to what I paid. | bouleversee
07/9/2016 14:08 | Fenner dividend paid today as well, so a good movement in the share price and a dividend. Double joy LOL! | lauders
07/9/2016 10:29 | you are not alone! JP Morgan? Upgrade? | meijiman
07/9/2016 09:05 | Nice one JPM. | alphahunter
05/9/2016 19:43 | Selling a $10m-worth business to cut into their fairly high debt pile, what does this say for the dividend and free cash flow going forward? | alphahunter
04/9/2016 06:28 | A disposal that reduces debt. Has to be positive surely and I also like the bold part in the conclusion that I highlight: Disposal of Xeridiem Medical Devices, Inc Fenner PLC announces the disposal yesterday of Xeridiem Medical Devices, Inc ("Xeridiem") to PPC Industries, Inc for a consideration of $10.5 million, payable in cash. Xeridiem is a manufacturer of minimally-invasive catheters and other single-use medical devices; it is located in Tucson, Arizona, USA. During the year ended 31 August 2015, Xeridiem achieved an operating profit of $0.2 million before certain non-recurring items and had gross assets of approximately $3.2 million. The proceeds of the sale will initially be used to reduce Fenner's net indebtedness. Mark Abrahams, Chief Executive of Fenner PLC, commented as follows: "Fenner has recently invested significantly in its medical businesses, most particularly through the acquisition of Charter Medical in January 2015 and the construction of state of the art, purpose-built facilities for Secant Medical, which have now entered the testing and certification phases. Together, these businesses provide a platform for exploiting our knowhow in new and growing fields to support our customers' ambitious growth plans. We believe Xeridiem will bring more synergies to the acquirer whilst the mutually beneficial deal will allow us to focus on the significant growth opportunities in Secant and Charter." | lauders
31/8/2016 12:30 | Small dividend here on the 7th September at least! Seems to be holding well so far and may gain strength in the last quarter. | lauders
25/8/2016 08:53 | Quietly rising on demand from rejuvenated mining demand. 160 looks like support. W in feb. If yank market crashes or Yellen does her bit to mash miners may suffer some here. M&A may affect market while still low prices in mining. | edjge2 |
