Consensus eps being cut now to break-even for the current year.
Fair amount of debt and high dividend yield into a cyclical downturn.
What will John Pratt do now that he has been into the job for six month?

There hasn't been any TA analyst / chartist invoking an awe-inspiring "Bowl", which would have been broken within a day as the fundamentals have reinstated themselves pretty quickly. All the fundamental points as listed above remain valid.

I've closed here but more out of boredom than anything else. Money can be better spent elsewhere.

The price of coal collapsed this past month
The larger Chineese coal producer has just slashed capex
Yesterday, Germany pushed ahead with switch out coal towards renew. & gas power stations
Iron ore price's bounce stopped and term curve in backwardation
More capex slashing in oil & gas (Petrobas - yesterday)
Competitors have warned since FENR's last update

The sum of the part valuation does not add-up.
The dividend seems at risk.
Standard Life, the main shareholder has been selling down gradually for months

From a chart point of view, the flat line may suggest the beggining of a turnaround, with the inescapable mention that a "bowl" is being formed. I believe that fondamentals will reinstate themselves.

Just reopened a short position @ 210p and 205p between yesterday and today.

You mean 199p hvs LOL!

The investment case from the Fenner website (agreed it is rather one-sided but here it is anyway):

INVESTMENT CASE

Both ECS and AEP have leading competitive positions in their chosen markets
ECS is one of the leading global suppliers of heavyweight conveyor solutions. AEP’s businesses have strong positions in growing niche markets.

Business resilience derived from a high level of performance-critical and aftermarket products and services
Fenner is continuing to develop a balanced portfolio of products, serving a variety of markets, meaning that the Group has become progressively more resilient.

Global footprint with growth opportunities in developed and emerging economies
Fenner operates on every continent in the world with particular strengths in North America. As the world economy evolves and grows, our strategy is to increase investment in emerging economies.

Established track record of performance in differing market conditions
Fenner significantly increased revenues and profit in 2011 and 2012, and produced resilient performances in 2013 and 2014 when market conditions in parts of the mining industry were difficult.

A strong balance sheet and strong cash flow
These have funded continuing organic and acquisitive investment as well as increased dividend payments to shareholders. The balance sheet is further strengthened by long-term debt maturity.

We will find out what has been happening in the stated update due on 22nd July according to their website:

Just delayed? ;-) Guess there are still a few selling and then a rise will come one day. Never know what will happen of course, but don't see anything that has changed since my buy. Was looking so good for a re-rating at 230p as well!

Now would be a better buy point scottishfield. Was hoping that we would have a clear breakout the other day but alas back to where we started. Let's see if we can hold this 220p level. Might take some time to recover if we cannot :-(
