It might have seemed liked hyperbole to say this a few years ago, but it’s become impossible to ignore the mammoth impact esports have left on gaming. Game developers can’t shrug about esports now that finals of last year’s League of Legends world championship pulled in 36 million daily views across the globe and distributed $6.3 million in prize money. Market researcher Newzoo predicts the esports gaming market, which grew to $493 million last year, will hit $1.1 billion by 2019. Given this monumental attention media-wise and economically, as well as a 100 percent viewership growth rate over the past few years, it’s only natural that we’ll see development ideas championed in the esports arena creep into other genres of the game development space as they seek to capture these eye-popping numbers for themselves.

flash - just read your post - I gave up on ADVFN charts quite some time ago as they kept messing about with Java. I hope you got the problem sorted.

I think the directors are focused on the deals that are currently underway. These deals will I think give a massive boost to the share price as they will crystalise value.
What you need to remember is that what they are involved in is commercially sensitive and so it would be counter productive to give a running commentary on their thought process. You have to trust the Directors to do the deals and tell you when its done.
I am holding firm and expecting to be well rewarded.

Wonder how ffwd would feel watching their investments fall down in value with no regular updates from companies they invest in ? Small cap AIM stocks think they are above share holders and oftern pay the price, the BoD can easily give a guided view IMO

I for one am still sticking it out here. I wish FFWD were better with the newsflow on their website as I have stated numerous times, yet in the end we just need to see one or two really good announcements (not just general portfolio updates) and then some may take FFWD seriously. At the moment not many people do by the looks of things. Come on FFWD give us something of substance. The time remaining to take advantage of those options is running out Lorne et al!

Roofer 2 - when MMs have finished playing with spreads there is virtually no rise or haven't you worked that out yet?.
If you think that was a good rise you need to keep up with what are actually good rises on other shares.

10p to 13p was a good rise, then pulled back again, the point I'm making! Please keep up

Sold half on today's news, guessing games make all a little messy after a good rise only to lose it, ffwd should keep investors updated more regular IMO gla

Possibly the reason for the change at this stage is in connection with Leap Gaming's IPO. The new Brokers/Advisers are perhaps more adept at dealing with all the necessary requirements involved in such a launch.

I doubt there will be another fund raising at this stage as there's plenty of cash in the bank right now and monies due to come from the impending sale of Schoold.

Wouldn't disagree entirely TT but why raise now when they have the Schoold sale in the offing? There has been a recent constant seller here though for a while. Can only sell once though.

Interesting RNS. Usually a prelude to significant corporate activity. Slightly off topic but re IPO's, I see Snapchat reckon they could be valued as much as $22.2 bn..............absolute bonkers. Leap gaming will be interesting (though not in that league lol).
