05/1/2017 20:23 | Loverat5 Jan '17 - 15:58 - 9378 of 9393 1 0 Slightly off topic but involves one of the posters here. See link below. As I said yesterday - no point trusting AE or TW. AIM is manipulated by two groups of people - the management of AIM companies - and ShareProphets and other leeches who hang on to their every word to manipulate shares the other way. No point trusting the likes of ShareProphets, Sweet Karolina and Stigologist. All driven by ideology, hypocrisy, self interest and blowing their own trumpets. Seasoned investors/traders will know to ignore these fools and steer a middle ground. In some cases, folk might make money trading in companies deramped by these individuals - as I have. Independent thought is the enemy of these crooks. By all means be entertained by the idiots playing out their games here but stand back and think how AIM is manipulated by many people - not just those who run the listed companies. | doodlebug4
05/1/2017 19:01 | One thing's for sure - the current share price nowhere near reflects the new potential that we learned about yesterday. I'm going to be buying more shares here in the coming weeks, whilst the opportunity is still there.. Either one of those two events, Leap IPO or the Schoold deal has to be a game changer. | bdog51
05/1/2017 16:02 | Still expecting to see these at over 20p in the near future. I don't think people have realised the significance of yesterday's rns. Gla | wolf9
05/1/2017 15:10 | I think Loren Abony is due back in the UK on 25th March for the Master Investor show, so he will be keen to have the Schoold deal finalised by then, dietcoke. It's been very much his baby and has been a great success since it was launched in the US. I would think the potential advertising revenues would make it an interesting proposition for any number of buyers. | doodlebug4
05/1/2017 15:03 | I'll let one of the expert number crunchers on this thread answer these questions Ivor. I would certainly be interested in buying a few Leap Gaming shares pre IPO, but I would be buying them with monies I have invested in America. | doodlebug4
05/1/2017 15:01 | I'm not stating it will but Schoold and/or Leap could provide the muscle to take FFWD close to treble figures in due course. | flashheart
05/1/2017 14:59 | Could be anything but remember some of the crazy valuations ascribed to recent app acquisitions?????? | flashheart
05/1/2017 14:57 | So, the Leap activity sounds quite complex. Schoold is more immediately interesting. 75 days, we have a target date for news a week before Easter.. I would also suggest that as one of LA's baby's, any acquirer will surely need to be paying a significant premium. Who might be interested in acquiring "schoold" and how much of a premium? | dietcoke197
05/1/2017 14:49 | I imagine that FFWD would offer some of its holding in Frallis/Leap Gaming to the market at the listing. It currently holds 41% - how much would it hold after the listing and how much cash would this raise? I imagine that any cash raised would be re-invested in new situations. Would the gains be taxable or would they qualify for roll over relief? Any ideas? Ivor | ivor hunch
05/1/2017 14:41 | Ah thanks db. Forgot the info was actually there. The chance to buy Leap shares themselves at pre IPO would indeed be a mouth watering opportunity. | flashheart
05/1/2017 14:22 | Presuming that the IPO does go ahead, it's surely reasonable to expect that existing FFWD shareholders would be given the chance to buy Leap Gaming shares pro-rata at the IPO launch price? | doodlebug4
05/1/2017 14:15 | Here you go flash: Proposed Recommended Offer for Schoold Proposed Listing of Leap Gaming Proposed Recommended Offer for the issued shares of Schoold The Company is pleased to announce that Vested Finance Inc. ("Schoold"), the US incorporated education technology provider trading under the brand "Schoold", and Mr Lorne Abony (the largest shareholder of Schoold and Chief Executive Officer of FastForward), have executed a term sheet with a strategic acquirer regarding a proposed recommended offer for the entire issued share capital of Schoold. The offer places a value on Schoold representing an increase in the reported value of FastForward's investments in Schoold at the time of FastForward's interim report and accounts to 31 September 2016. The Term Sheet provides for a 75-day period of exclusivity in relation to the proposed acquisition which is subject to definitive agreements being concluded by the parties. The Company has an approximate 12.3 per cent. interest (on a fully diluted basis) in the issued shares of Schoold. Proposed Listing of Leap Gaming The Company has been informed by Frallis LLC ("Leap Gaming") that it has started the process of seeking a listing of its shares on a North American stock exchange. In addition, Leap Gaming has confirmed that it has received an approach from an existing partner regarding a possible cornerstone investment in the business ahead of a proposed IPO of such partner and this party is currently undertaking a valuation exercise that will determine proposed pricing of Leap Gaming. Leap Gaming has indicated that it expects that either transaction, if completed, would represent in an increase over the reported value of FastForward's investments in Leap Gaming at the time of FastForward's interim report and accounts to 31 September 2016. Leap Gaming is currently in the process of engaging advisers ahead of the proposed IPO which is expected to complete in the first half of 2017. The Company can give no guarantee that an IPO will be completed or the valuation at which such IPO will occur. The Board of FastForward is however supportive of the proposed steps and will look to support Leap Gaming management over the course of the next few months. The Company has an approximate 41.15 per cent. interest (on a fully diluted basis) in the issued shares of Leap Gaming, making it the largest shareholder of the company. | doodlebug4
05/1/2017 14:02 | Any idea approx how long we are likely to wait for more details re the Schoold sale and the Leap float? | flashheart
05/1/2017 14:00 | You probably know this already Roofer. | doodlebug4
05/1/2017 13:16 | I had FFWD on my watch list over 12 months, yesterday's RNS was a game changer IMO, I'm just trying to put a price on LEAP, the figures I come out with are mind boggling for a company with a MC of only £17m gla R2 | roofer2
05/1/2017 13:11 | Feel free - I get fed up with the sound of my own voice on this thread sometimes.:-) | doodlebug4
05/1/2017 13:08 | Ha - I'll post every 5 mins if it gets the share price upto a £1 by the end of the month :) | mustardmark
05/1/2017 13:04 | You should post more often mustardmark, you've just done wonders for the share price!:-) | doodlebug4
05/1/2017 13:01 | again - that's http !!!! | mustardmark
05/1/2017 13:00 | Thanks Moormoney - I'll have a gander at EVRH. Roofer - imho there's insufficient information available at the moment to be able to ascertain a float price. Even the potential revenue stream of on-line gambling varies wildly, consensus ranges from $2billion annually to $7billion by 2020. Both these numbers, at first glance, would appear low considering the population. The principle reason is that the US gambling scene is fragmented with different states issuing their own laws/regulations - I believe (and please correct me if I'm wrong) only 3 states have legalised online gambling, many more are sitting on the sidelines. I've attached an article below, dated 2015 but I believe still relevant. So, there is huge potential in a market in it's infancy - but with all these things, challenges lie ahead. hxxp://www.huffingto | mustardmark
05/1/2017 12:31 | few sellers cashing in on yesterday's profits, a rapid fall back could be on the cards here before news stabilises the share price gla R2 | roofer2
05/1/2017 12:02 | It's the post IPO share price on NASDAQ that interests me. The value of LEAP could increase exponentially when it becomes tradable on the exchange and FFWD will have a very sizeable interest. While a high IPO price and cornerstone investment price would be great, IMO the real value will be unlocked in the weeks and months post Nasdaq listing | trotterstrading
05/1/2017 11:29 | Any views on what price leap could float at if the IPO does go ahead. R2 | roofer2
05/1/2017 11:16 | Although overall PC sales have fallen, the PC gaming market thrives. SuperData Research found PC gaming drew nearly $36 billion in revenue last year, driven by interest in free-to-play online games as well as growing interest in both virtual reality and competitive video gaming, or eSports. | doodlebug4 |
