03/10/2016 02:30 | I think you are probably correct bdog51. The only thing to consider in that respect is whether you trust the management to deliver! Not all managers who convince their shareholders to stump-up funds actually do what they say they will do and some even manage to make the company disappear and all the shareholders funds disappear too! So while the intentions and "plans" may all be well, good care is still needed. "Caveat emptor" still applies! Perhaps that should be "Caveat elit"? | lauders
02/10/2016 19:45 | I think it’s worth remembering that back in Feb, the FFWD Board were incentivised through a Grant of Options at 20p (see RNS: 5554P 19th Feb 2016). 50% would vest immediately, then 25% after 12 months (provided the share price is above 25p for 10 consecutive days) The remaining 25% after 24 months (provided the share price is above 35p for 10 consecutive days) Hence there remains a good incentive for the Board to get the share price thru 25p and then 35p. I see no reason why we won’t get to see these levels as the company progresses through the next 6 – 12 – 18 months. After all, the BOD have made a significant investment in FastForward using their own capital. We could even get to these levels surprisingly soon if the forthcoming investee disposals are sufficiently profitable, IMV. This remains a long term hold for me, good things come to those who are prepared to wait it out.. | bdog51
30/9/2016 18:00 | As a shareholder you're entitled to express your concerns moormoney. Jim Mellon also has a public email address and I have always found him to be very receptive to some concerns I have raised with him in the last few months. | doodlebug4
30/9/2016 16:27 | That's the spirit, will be interesting to see if they respond. | rafboy
30/9/2016 15:59 | I have emailed via the company website to ask for some formal updates rather than tweets which London investors take little notice of. I had a moan about the falling share price due to a long period without news. You never know I might get a response😀 | moormoney
30/9/2016 13:58 | Just had a small top up of 8768 shares. Hoping that news of a disposal is close. | rafboy
30/9/2016 12:24 | It is strange but with some of my holdings before, MOGP & NANO (latter to a degree) I had no patience and switched. But for FFWD I seem to be able to just "forget" and keep an eye on them. Something tells me it will come good as bazildonbond intimates, but some proper news-flow (not tweets) would be most welcome. I wonder if Lorne or anyone from FFWD actually read any of these posts out of interest and take note? If they are doing their jobs well probably not as they will have no interest or more importantly time to do so! | lauders
30/9/2016 09:07 | All these deals are potentially exciting for the medium/long term, but it is more important to know how quickly they will actually result in a substantial cash income. | petersinthemarket
30/9/2016 06:41 | None of this Twitter stuff can be so important, ie "Market sensitive" otherwise it would have to be released to the market first and twitter isn't the place to release news, i hold a reasonable amount of FFWD and i appreciate your frustrations, but be patient, you will be rewarded, eventually. | bazildonbond
29/9/2016 20:49 | I totally agree db. I always think its over use undermines credibility somewhat and that the twitter angle is a slightly unprofessional approach which indeed the BoD are not. The PR and general information releases need to be addressed to keep the market properly informed of what are very exciting developments in a number of areas. Maybe as bdog says, these are to be compiled into a complete and informative RNS in the coming days. As far as the portfolio goes and the quality of the investee companies are concerned, this stock improves time and time again. It just needs to be expressed to a wider audience. | flashheart
29/9/2016 20:16 | I think we are rather underwhelmed by the constant use of "WOW"! I have never been a fan of Twitter and think it's not good PR to use it constantly as a way of conveying important news to shareholders. | doodlebug4
29/9/2016 19:37 | Perhaps all these investee updates are being compiled into a bumper portfolio update, to be delivered with upcoming news of disposals. Anybody's guess at this stage but I'm unsure otherwise why RNSs have all but dried up completely, despite these major new partnerships being signed off. | bdog51
29/9/2016 19:25 | Lorne seems to be well into Twitter unfortunately and is ramping up the tweets. Perhaps he thinks RNS's are sooo yesterday, way behind the times and Twitter is way more tech savvy? Maybe, but not great for the share price though is it?! Meanwhile some other FFWD tweets from today (even Yooya gets a mention) - - Great work from Portfolio Co. @Leap_Gaming , Signing two MAJOR partnerships that bring them into EU, US and LatAm markets. Growing fast! - Portfolio Co. @Leap_Gaming announces Major partnership, bringing its product to Social Casino's in the US. - Leap_Gaming #virtual gaming startup poised to upend the gaming and sports industry - Our Portfolio Co. @YooyaChina poised to capture this market! Digital video advertising is a force in China. It's expected to grow 44.6% in 2016 to $5.62 billion | bdog51
29/9/2016 16:16 | Agree we need a WOW rns. The news is very good but not many share buyers are looking at twitter so FFWD is just not on the radar. I do think Lorne is investing in some exciting companies and the first deal will bring some attention, but maybe he is not so familiar with fickle London investors who need constant feeding. | moormoney
29/9/2016 16:08 | FFWD need to RNS this deal and some numbers would be useful in terms of the value it could add to the company. But also they need to update on the disposals which they can probably only do when the deal is done because it will be commercially sensitive. We must have faith in Lorne! | 888icb
29/9/2016 16:02 | This "massive news", "WOW" - is having as much effect on the share price as a damp squib. | doodlebug4

29/9/2016 15:22 | FastFwd Innovations @ffwdinnovation Massive news from Portfolio Co. @Leap_Gaming today! New partnership brings their Product into US market's. WOW! | doodlebug4
29/9/2016 02:04 | Thanks for the tweet summary bdog51! Not really a twitter fan so interesting to see them all listed together. Gaming is the current focus as has been observed, yet there must be a lot going on in the background with the other companies. We just haven't heard anything yet. Hopefully Lorne and friends will learn that non-twitter PR is the key as long as the news is worthy of sharing. Has to be some type of RNS soon I would think too. Perhaps this week? Only two days left Lorne ;-) | lauders
28/9/2016 22:26 | We clearly need an actual transaction to get this moving north again. It's well over 2 months since the company flagged up deals were imminent and they need to deliver on this with a big win. | 888icb
28/9/2016 21:36 | Two buys from me today. Added a few to my isa and got some to hopefully trade when news starts arriving. Good post on the tweets bd51. I'm hoping Ffwd is warming up! | moormoney
28/9/2016 20:10 | In the absence of any recent news via RNS, here is a Twitter compilation of recent FFWD news tweets (2 from today) – 28 Sept - We've invested in @MoonActive. Their games have been downloaded >10m times and distributed in 150 countries. 28 Sep - Mobile gambling to generate turnover of $100 billion by 2017 says @juniperresearch. Future looks bright for @Leap_Gaming and @MoonActive 26 Sep - We believe the best investment returns are to be made in innovation. - Jim Mellon, Co-Chairman. 23 Sep - We take great pride in our portfolio companies because we believe they can make you great return on your investment. 22 Sep - Users game with @Leap_Gaming and @MoonActive mostly on #mobile. #Gaming products have experienced 116% net revenue growth on mobile devices 22 Sep – Portfolio Co. @Leap_Gaming at it again, licensing their #VirtualSports technology to @TangeloGames, a major gaming platform in EU and LatAm! 21 Sep - We're investing in the future of #technology & disrupting VC to bring outsized returns to #investors, learn more Interesting that almost all of those recent tweets refer to investment in mobile gaming. This seems to be a hot sector so not surprising that Lorne is very excited about it. I particularly like the phrase ..bringing outsized returns to investors :-) Hope to get some positive newsflow over the coming weeks & months, FFWD have some proper catching up to do on news RNSs after all. | bdog51
