Thanks Whiskey. They certainly seem optimistic with this spate of presentations! The Stril Mar has set off back to the rig. At this juncture the longer things go on the better IMHO.

Looking back at the recent update there was a list of capex for 2017 on page 6 but it didn't include Fogelberg anyway.

But I see that there is now a brand new presentation, in the drilling list the Bone is now bordered in gold! And Aerosmith raised to committed.

Edit. I tried to post the link to the new presentation but it failed. It's on the website.

hxxp://www.offshoreenergytoday.com/centrica-delays-fogelberg-development-plan-for-2019/

Confirmation of what we knew, I think. Not sure why it's a news item.

Centrica/Faroe/Dea need access to the Åsgard Transportation System if they go ahead with that solution. Still, mid-2019 seems a long time to get something sorted and a PDO submitted.

If I am interpreting the Bristow symbols correctly, helicopter flights from Hammerfest to the Scarabeo 8 have gone up to two per day this week. For the original Pil well I thought that increased activity was a clue to success, but this theory did not work for the follow up wells.

Skandi Iceman seems to been into port over the weekend (didn't pay attention) and now to be going back to the rig, promising if activity is continuing.

The Stril Mar setting off back to Scarabeo 8, more gear required to test this enormous find?

The Stril Mar support vessel is spending some time in Hammerfest. The Skandi Iceman has still not returned from the rig, if it were moving anchors it would surely be done by now, I think it may just be serving as standby while the other is away?

(ref #7961) Absolutely right. It applies to all Offshore workers too.

Bone is a long way offshore and Hammarfest is well inside the Arctic Circle, but I suppose they get a small amount of daylight by now.

Re. Bone, I noticed they had to restart. No reason given. Sometimes they deliberately deviate to avoid potential gas hazard, but that is usually planned in advance. Maybe they hit a nuclear sub. ;-)

This is from Aug 2016 I think so fairly irrelevant but a picture of a tug approaching the Scarabeo 8.

Who knows, in the cold and dark up there? They may just be keeping warm and eating takeaways! What they are doing would have been thought of as impossible/science fiction 150 years ago. Brave and talented people all down the line, right back to the designers and builders of the platform.

Looking at the NPD licence entry it is curious that they are now on 7318/12-2, the original 7318/12-1 down as having lasted one day from 11th to 12th January, start date of 7318/12-2 being 13th Jan. Some technical issue, hit a boulder or a walrus perhaps? But I can't see any sign of a sidetrack.

Ha, ha. (I think there might be more rumours in that case!) But let's hope you're right.

ENI have at least two other jobs for Scarabeo-8 in the Barents so if it is for executives, perhaps they need a decision whether to drill a sidetrack? Otherwise release Scarabeo while they do some analysis, they can always come back. (Do we know if they have a permit for a sidetrack at Bone?)

There is a supply ship Stril Mar coming back from the rig and the Skandi Iceman seems to have gone up there, but now out of range of the free service on Marinetraffic so no clue as to what it is doing. Also seem to be daily helicopter flights from Hammerfest, is this just routine or could they be taking ENI management to see the enormous find in person?
