Just another coincidence at the timing of the Argies protestations, with Humpback's results expected imminently, with both Hammond and Cameron's recent declarations, Royal Navy frigates in St Hellena and Cameron's speech 11.30am tomorrow.........and the ER still at drill site.....DISCOVERY NEWS IMMINENT!!! imho GLA ;-)

Too much oil coming out. Takes 10 more days to stabilise the pressure.

The amount of time spent drilling the drill bit must be blunt.

God help them if they are still drilling. It can't go on forever. Someone will have to either call time , especially if they are wasting money..or are happy to keep going as they know it's worth it. Costs are $150million and counting...it will be more than FOGL's mcap soon! Hence the discussion of commercial terms.

Whoppy....depends how desperate they are, perhaps?
Staying until they find something?
NBL particularly need some good news after the Cameroon failure.
They could be sidetracking -lookingvfor something to put in the results?

I think they just don't know..who knows if they have TD yet, or not?
Drilling has been very slow with this well.
They may not have results to give yet.

i have no idea what's happening, but just want to balance the claim that they wouldn't sit over a duster.

Considering the cost of the drilling,if this were to be a duster, surely they would have pulled the plug at the earliest opportunity. The fact that it has taken this long, could it be that the tests are proving to be encouraging,as they interpret the data?

If it's a discovery then everyone can get in and enjoy the feelgood factor. It will affirm the Falkland Islands position to everybody in the world..especially the Argies.
