wouldn't read too much into it MM - the other oilies like APC and APA are up even higher (and they are bigger market caps than Noble's).

Nbl up 2.6% plus and rising...massive on Market cap of $12 billion plus...all bodes well, especially on a Friday...gl...potential transformational news Monday...:-)))

Agreed imperial, as they've had ample time to annouce a duster, I think they've hit, but now we have to wait to find out if they think it's commercial....which is looking more likely the longer we wait imho. No Friday duster news from Noble!!! Gl ;-)

Frankly,moneymunch we have to wait until the company makes an announcement.It is the anticipation which fuels rumour and speculation.The BOD in whom we place our trust for this venture,have had ample time and research to optimise a possible successful outcome.

Ps imperial, the rumour and subsequent 50% spike, suggets some know or thought they knew....more than most, and that the chances of success had increased greatly. Gl :-)

Noble announced last weeks Cameroon duster news on a Friday ( 25th), and so if no news today, our chances for good news Monday will start looking favourable. Gl :-)

Nobody knows anything yet about Humpback.You might as well roll dice for the 1 in 5 chance of success.Needless to say,infinitely better than the lottery.You just have to hope they have put the drill down in the right place.

Diomedia Fan Complex - FOGL 52.5%, Noble 35%, Edison 12.5%

This complex contains the high impact humpback exploration well.

Humpback is targeting 510 mmbbls prospective resources (mid-case) and is compromised of stacked deepwater channels and fans.

This is the most high risk well of the current campaign (20% chance of success) but with that brings great reward is successful.

There is significant follow on potential after Humpback, in the fan complex there are 5 more targets all with mid-case prospective resources between 225-275 mmbbls with the most attractive being Stingray a 266 mmbbls target.

Noble have been rumoured to have said that if humpback works then the follow up prospects will be 'like shooting fish in a barrel'.

Humpback spudded on the 13th June and if successful it would be a game changer for the region and FOGL.

I'm staying for the outcome. There is a great chance of a blockbuster well and that's what it is all about. Having been a DES shareholder, patience is what I have got good at :)

Of course it is, but if no Friday duster news, then the more it could be likely for good news....Noble must know by now, and the ER is sitting over drill site at a very expensive day rate...nothings definite but lets see how the market responds to no news from Noble this afternoon. Gl :-)
