They had oil on the shakers 3 weeks ago before getting to any target reservoirs..so oil appears moveable and sands porous.

Sorry for the OT folks, but beter than mad speculation, don't you think?
All we can do is wait for the RNS now.
The share price isn't going anywhere at the moment..........

Shanie... O/T
my lad went out to NZ for the rugby world cup 4 years ago...never came back. He moved to Hawaii from Auckland. I have a Tipperary name myself. :)

Chris...NOBODY knows what the result will be.
The only thing that will tell you for sure is the RNS.
It doesn't look like I'm going to get a target price to sell today.

There will definitely be more that 4m of sand they won't have got the geology that wrong.
The questions are:
Is there a seal?
Is there a source?
Do the sands have good porosity?
Do the sands have good permeability?
Did they manage to reach TD?
Did they manage to log?

From video dawn. See below. Very interesting. This makes an rns for Monday morning (our time) very likely. News will leak this weekend and expect to see it in the Sunday papers. Good luck everyone. Crew change flight due to arrive Gatwick South at 17.05 today

My interpretation on whats been posts is yes they have found oil but the sands are low permeability, always a risk at this depth

Shanie, I think they were all in on a P&D myself.
Just IMHO.....but nothing will change my mind on that one.
Chris...I meant to add....
just because those who were claiming it was a huge find ( when the objectives hadn't even been penetrated) are now all cautious and talking the result down,
It doesn't mean they know anything now.
They cannot be trusted either way.
Some posters have their own agendas. Trust no one. ;)

Agreed agnabeya. Those good fools hang on every world. I think borgo is just some fellow who uses a bit of info from dejaview, videodawn, desireoil and marlonmonkey to fit the most likely scenario. he is probably just having a laugh.
