Option has been extended on drilling rig ER until end of 2017. Why would they do that??...do they already know they need to drill more wells? and they won't have problems funding it?? They haven't finished this campaign yet!

Tongosti.....I'm not sure exactly. But if they are walking away from that one, they must feel securein their other projects.
If they had stayed to tough it out, I'd have been wondering if they were a bit desperate.
Had these talks went well, that might have justified the rise.
I'm not thinking that it means they have a hit on Humpback or anything.
These are different projects and it didn't have to be one or the other.
They could have handled both of them.

I suppose it's a feeling of confident professionalism I 'm getting.
I'm happy with that.
I worked for Noble Drilling and they were as chaotic as any other drillers. :)

Well, we did hit 25p after all.
Apparently Noble are up too.
It would also seem that Noble walked out of offshore energy development talks with Israel yesterday.

So that is defo not the reason for the rise.

TBS, I installed win 10 over win 7 last week. I spent hours archiving folders in case I lost stuff. In the end it was very smooth, all programs and data are still I place and working. I upgraded as win 7 was taking ages to boot up, win 10 is much faster. I'm not sure I like the desktop interface, but that's not what I sit looking at! PS I'm still not a fan of Bill.

TBS - You probably wouldn't find a compatible machine now to run your autocad on - even if you did manage to burn your software to a drive.
I also have a 27" iMac - OK for some stuff but I hate it as a workhorse - and the software doesn't play well with others. I'm still an XP cheerleader...:)
