11/12/2014 16:15 | Anyone know what the profitability level is for the Falklands, $50, $60? If the world is awash with cheap oil, is it worth them drilling a full programme? | trulyscrumptious
11/12/2014 16:12 | Harrior2: Have you factored in the inevitable fracking lawsuits, the decline in allowed licenses & the increased investment in the gulf of mexico rigs? | thewealthofsocrates

10/12/2014 21:43 | Hi Socrates, I`m a YANK with 100,000 shares, an ear to the game here in the US, and tell you clearly that $40 oil will not stop fracking. However the rest of the world, Saudi`s included, will be the one`s to halt far short of $30 dollar oil. The fact is that our stupid president is the only stopper to more output by disallowing the Keystone pipeline from Canada. And yes, this is also tight oil that will not be stopped. The good news is that that deep ocean oil is the cheapest to extract after covering infrastructure and wells. The only caveat is that the south basin must be in the billion plus barrel range to assure investment and they will have half of that in the north basin. Harrior | harrior2
10/12/2014 13:47 | What's the main cost of oil rig exploration? Answer: The oil price. | thewealthofsocrates
10/12/2014 13:40 | The US propaganda financial channels are saying fracking will be profitable at $40 oil. They shouldn't have said that because the Saudis will carry on until that happens. They are aiming for $30 oil. The frackers will be utterly destroyed. | thewealthofsocrates
10/12/2014 13:30 | Thanks for the cheap shares who ever is selling. Current AV-25p, oooohhhhh yeah, put in a stop loss and forget about them till next year, let the market do its own thing until the real news comes out. | fraser038

09/12/2014 11:20 | Purple - I've never heard of Jessie Livermore - but I have heard of Warren Buffet. He seems to know what he's talking about. I'm probably wrong - but it's always been my strategy to get the shares as cheaply as I can and then sell them as high as I can when people are getting greedy for them. That may be too simplistic for some - but it works for me. I'm not saying I advise anyone else to follow my method. You keep buying high if that works for you and your friend, Mr Livermore. I can't figure how it does - but knock yourself out, and good luck with it. | agnabeya
