Let's look at these next year - take care with averaging down. I would only average down strong companies after a 30-50% drop from my original entry.I normally buy with a view to accumulate over a one year period - so avoid buying a large chunk in the first place.

cheers mate. I've been buying and adding in drips since 27 - and got my average down nicely now.
Also got far too many as usual - but I'm prepared to take the chance
Basically I'm hanging on for another dip - I think it will come looking at the chart.
My charting is not conventional - but it's more readable for me.

Even although the chart showed a dip - I found the ask stayed at 24.45 regardless of the spread on HBOS. Maybe tomorrow.

Not trying to encourage you to buy except to say when you do decide to buy in for the pre-drill wave, the volume of new entrants and bb activity is bigger here because FOGL has most to gain from these drills . I hold both RKH and FOGL.

Cant comment on entry point for you if at all. If anyone knew that they would be too wealthy to be on this bb however chart might give you a clue.

Agns, its important information as it determines the value and type of the many derivative positions which either are,or will be opened. Not to mention the wonga type T-20 tribe.

Yes, based on Ocean Rig's estimate of the maximum available days of active drilling operations in Q1 2015. 40 days is the figure from the fleet status report.

The iii lot are mostly barking, except rpoodle, flying mule and one or two others.

Seems others are adamant we cant start drilling till 1st march - and i reckon thats probably the contract dates for the rig crew that will be floating around aberdeen now..

On the other BB someone seems to think PMO will take delivery of the rig in three weeks.
Glitter -I think the repairs were already completed at the time of failure.
I've no idea if it was the BOP that was damaged - but if it was - that repair would have to be done immediately, before it began drilling again for Lukoil.
No way they would carry on drilling with a damaged one.
I have a link to the repair company somewhere. It doesn't give details - only mentions repairing the rig recently.

I'm all in with FOGL. I lost faith in RKH the day of the deal with PMO and sold out completely then.
Only time will tell.
I honestly can't see how BB traffic determines what is the best buy.
I stopped believing BB posts as gospel years ago.
It certainly hasn't done me any harm. :)

Do you mean under way to a South African port to have work done on the Blow Out Preventer? About one month for that before a 1 month journey to FI, I think. Although owners' schedule shows it now with Noble/Premier, that could be just admin's way of showing that it is scheduled to happen in Dec and it is still working for Lukoil. More likely to arrive in FI late Feb or early March than Jan(say)
Not sure about optional well for Lukoil, if that ever happened or is happening now. Maybe others have more info?
