I cant see it Ramayer - if anything the rig rates may start to tumble now which will help the campaign costs. The rig is signed up, its currently en route to its final drill for Lukoil before it makes its journey down to the Falklands.. it'll happen.

RamayerThe drill is 6 months away and everything is signed for the campaign, it would be foolish for anyone now to have pull out and may cost them more to do it.DyorImo fear creeping in most people and the mms are taking cheapies.

Alright folks been a while since I was in here back in the last drilling campaign, was a complete novice then and got taken in by the hype surrounding the Falklands and ramping on the bulletin boards eventually coming out with a loss.
Starting to think about getting back in for the next campaign and with this current dip in oil prices a price between 24p and 28p seems to be a good entry point. Lots of great potential and hype to come here so should be able to play it as the drilling gets closer.

Only a slight concern but if the oil price does tumble for an extended period would there be any chance of the drills being delayed or put on hold due to the economics?

I think they tried to take this down to get sellers but buyers are hoovering these up quickly. As most aim companies have had huge gains only now to give back that gains fogl have merely risen from the bottom.Next few weeks could be the start of some serious gains when the rig starts to move for Falklands.

Marine Traffic has the Eirik Raude drill rig anchored in Cape Town port in preparation for its next contract in the Falklands, a six well drilling programme for Premier Oil and Noble Energy.

(info courtesy moneymunch on the TRP thread)

Hopefully, not long to go before we see a bit of upward momentum.

Wake up sloppy thinker, I had all my eggs in Rockhopper while you took an awful hit when Desire I found only water. I felt very sorry for you as I never like to see anyone lose their shirt like that. I see Rutter is comparing you to Walter Mitty on the LOGP thread, I have to agree with him.

Not long to wait Shanie, I assume around November time, I think that's when you can expect a lot of activity, but most are already getting in now as and when it starts it's journey you could be looking at buying in hopefully in late 30,s and from there its any bodies guest as where we will be.Also looking out for 3d results soon so from here in good time to accumulate now and sit back.
