10/12/2016 13:45 | I'm appalled at Friday's RNS. I trusted the management's outlook statement even though the share pirce was telling a different story for months. I've bought three lots of these from £1.05 to 70p. It's not going to be the end of the world for me if this goes bust but to have a management team tell such lies while the real trading performance was clearly known by insiders is a disgrace imo. Anyway I bought a few more at 20 ish P. Maybe throwing good money after bad but it's now either cheap or going broke or in for a large fundraising. Arthur | arthur_lame_stocks
10/12/2016 11:51 | I agree - Paul you should tone your language down. Many of us very much respect your views and insight, but you are letting yourself down with these outbursts. Masurenguy did what we all should have done in August. I was anchored to my purchase price and that's what has lost me money on this one. Oh well, I have still had a very good year and you can't win them all. You do get the feeling though that the wheels have been falling off earlier in the year and that management have taken too long to own up to whats actually happened. | topvest
10/12/2016 11:20 | Which suspension might that be? f | fillipe
10/12/2016 11:12 | I originally invested here at @144p last year but took a 28% hit and sold @104p in August due to the fact that the shareprice had declined by almost 40% over the previous 5 months despite no newsflow and a niggling doubt that the dividend might be cut but I never expected it to be suspended. That turned out to be a good decision in retrospect - my condolences to those still holding at the close on Thursday. | masurenguy
10/12/2016 11:05 | Anyone with distant subjective carrion view on the share thinking there's anything to go for here, at somewhere sub-20p? f | fillipe
10/12/2016 10:50 | Never get emotional about money paulypilot.. clouds your judgement. | pj0077
10/12/2016 09:41 | I agree the language is offensive. Say whatever you want to FRP directors, just don't print it. I have no intention on filtering PP because his insights are very valuable - just wish I could filter the language. | melody9999
09/12/2016 23:37 | Not for the likes of PP. lol | battlebus2
09/12/2016 23:13 | £10k.....a lot of money in North Yorkshire, 5 months take home pay for me. I agree with PP. | basem1
09/12/2016 21:06 | Does anyone know the debt covenants? | mtilg
09/12/2016 20:15 | Not trying to be funny but 10k is neither here nor there in this game, I presume it's more the fact you appear to have been mislead. | battlebus2
09/12/2016 20:03 | Paul - I'm not going to get into a slanging match which will serve no useful purpose. I just see no need for people to descend into such foul-mouthed tirades, the kind of language that is usually the reserve of trolls on these boards. Using the 'c' word is way over-stepping the mark. Surely you can see that using such language undermines the respect that your day job with Stocko requires? It does you no service at all. Let's just leave it at that. Have a good weekend. | speedsgh
09/12/2016 20:01 | Yes, total disgrace releasing this update late on a Friday afternoon. The contents were obviously known before the Market opened this morning. | eeza
09/12/2016 19:44 | Kicking myself for still having a small holding. Thought about selling in the summer as things had changed for the worse, but hung on. Poor decision. Oh well, you can't win them all. | topvest
09/12/2016 18:48 | The share price has been dropping for months, not just since November. | paduardo
09/12/2016 18:45 | I agree with bookbroker. Almost every attempt by legal or accountancy firms to list has ended in disaster. Begbies Traynor is a shining example of last man standing in this area. P. | paulypilot
09/12/2016 18:44 | Miton Group lost a packet here! | bookbroker
09/12/2016 18:43 | Clear that cos. that provide professional services such as these are a complete waste of time, they never function correctly, should always remain partnerships, remember Tenon, accountancy plc, could not even manage their own accounts with a view to profit, simply not viable as quoted cos., Chris Moat taken investors down the garden path to the log she'd! | bookbroker
09/12/2016 18:36 | Terrible show Paul. Blaming others for your own investment mistake. Moreover it sounds like you tried to glean some extra information or reassurance from them outside of what was written in the RNS. If your allegation is true and they lied to you, so what? You tried to get an upper hand on the market and failed. Next time remember the motto. All management lie. Then weed out more carefully who are telling the porkers and who are telling the small ones. | dan_the_epic
09/12/2016 18:17 | Paul - I have the greatest respect for your views and the work that you do on Stockopedia. As a shareholder I am likewise disgusted by the Fairpoint board of directors who not so long ago sat in front of a video camera and painted an entirely diffferent picture to the one that has emerged in the announcement this afternoon. However there can be no excuse for resorting to the kind of language used in your post above regardless of how angry one is and it is certainly not hepful to your image/reputation. I trust that you will remove your offensive comments as soon as possible, for your own benefit as much as our own. | speedsgh |
