27/10/2016 10:44 | Found this morning's NAV RNS a bit disappointing. 3.4p drop over the qtr, of which 3.1p was drop in property valuation (or 2.3% ungeared - they've put a mix of p & % in the RNS, but near enough when it's trading close to a quid). Yield's there, assets still good quality, gearing relatively low. But that seems a big drop over a mere quarter, when post-Brexit, property has seemingly suffered no fall at all (yet). The initial valuer's tank was soon recovered when actual transactions went through. Sold my holding, has been a good ride, hope to get back in again in future. Would be happy with c.5.5% yield and a few % increase in property value every year - that makes for a nice return. Less enamoured with c.5.5% yield and (say) -5% NAV going forwards. Will no doubt revisit FCRE again sometime - good luck holders. Think there's better value in other REITS at enormous discounts (but lower yields) for the time being. | spectoacc | |

24/9/2016 18:48 | Blackrock have increased their holding to over 5%, sounds like a vote of confidence to me. Very quiet from PIs on this one. Doesn't do much but pays a decent divi while waiting for some capital appreciation. The risk reward seems pretty reasonable to me. | bartle | |
