The Board of F&C Managed Portfolio Trust plc announces that on 13 January 2017 the Company purchased 250,000 Income shares of 10p each at a price of 124.75p per Income share to be held in treasury.

Following this transaction the Company's issued share capital consists of 42,535,035 Income shares and 34,277,037 Growth shares, of which 1,225,000 Income shares and 593,537 Growth shares are held in treasury. Therefore the total number of shares with voting rights in F&C Managed Portfolio Trust plc is 41,310,035 Income shares and 33,683,500 Growth shares.

The above figures (41,310,035 Income shares and 33,683,500 Growth shares) may be used by shareholders as the denominator for the calculations by which they will determine if they are required to notify their interest in, or a change to their interest in, F&C Managed Portfolio Trust plc under the FCA's Disclosure and Transparency Rules.
