Looks like u have and market reaction to results is not what u expected but I see value in this and cash has gone up and market forecast for pretax profit is 1.5 million and they look happy with that. 1) Cash up £7 million 2) Retail turn over is up 3) Deal with T mobile 4) Asian retail business is growing5) Partner business is growing All this for just 6.5 million m/cap

Have I misread the results as you say very profitable but take away the exceptional and they still lost money ?

Underlining business is very profitable if you take out the exceptionals that's why there's a lack of reaction to this statement

Why do you think I sold but if you say too much you get accused of deramping so
no win situation.

Surprised by the lack of reaction to the exceptional item - such little worry for what seems like a horrendous loss of control/management inaction !

Mixed update for me.

I'm really disappointed with another big exceptional number, thought we had got these out the way last year!

I do however think a corner is being turned. Sold out this morning but keeping a close eye on proceedings.

Good luck to all holders.

So Expansys retail has turned around and is now growing! And looks DSNS USA is going to be positive going forward taking out the exceptional and add in:"As part of this planned change our US SIM business has recently been awarded an exclusive three year contract with T-Mobile in the USA, to become their prepaid top-up solution provider to the independent wholesale channel. This migration in business model has the potential to significantly improve the quality and scale of our business in the USA, and we are working with T-Mobile to develop the opportunity"

From last December 2012 interims to FY in July 2013 they added £1m to the cash.

Why? Thats a ridiculous comment.

XPS is currently valued at £6.5M. Minus cash reserves of £3M gives an actual value for XPS operations of £3.5M. If we opt for a conservative PE of 7.5 XPS need only to pull in a profit of £466,000 to sustain the current share price.

So if XPS get anywhere close to £2M profit this is an absolute bargain!

More importantly is the outlook moving forward and confirmation the worst is behind them.

Well, if they miss this forecast then, we are in for a bloodbath.

vyke82 - I believe LBO kindly posted it last month if you look back through the thread.

EBITDA of £3M and pre tax profits in the region of £2M I think.

As you're probably aware XPS has over £3M cash and no debt effectively valuing the company at circa £3.5M currently.

If £2M is achievable this year (30th april 14) i'd expect to see a rerating towards 1.5p.

vyke82,

last 2 years interims were out in dec, previous to that it was always end of Jan.

I contacted the company prior to christmas and was told Interims would be out in Jan but they wouldn't confirm what date.

Recent broker notes would suggest we're in for a pleasant surprise!

The half yearly results were always out in mid dec. This year, we don't seem to have neither trading statement nor results and we are post Xmas and new year. Usually delays are negative news baring. I don't like it.
