09/8/2013 09:58 | results on the 29th aug. should clear the picture. on the recent update they said that manufactured rails were strong. this is a large vertically integrated company. big in pipes and rails. complicated and difficult to assess. particularly the corporate activity recently mentioned. only on results day will we know more. | careful
06/8/2013 18:56 | lol !!!!!!!! They is going nowhere just like kicking a ball. Own GOAL I liked the Severstal rumour snippet THE CITY STINKS | hvs
06/8/2013 16:58 | ahhhh !!! Frustrating as hell, one minute knocking on the door of 98-99p and the next I look back at 93-94p. I keep being reminded that when the stock market turns for the better it will begin in the mining sector. Part of my thinking in taking a position in EVR is that it is a large business with lots of assets and obviously (recently) the share price has taken a massive downward traverse.....I think these are undervalued at present but have built them into my long term account and just hope that I am in somewhere near to the bottom at just above £1 level. GLA ps I liked the Severstal rumour snippet............. | neilyb675
05/8/2013 13:33 | There could be a double bottom forming at the 90 level. Worth watching with all the normal caveats. | brucie5
05/8/2013 13:21 | i bought into this hoping that corporate action would increase its value. Abramovich, the chelsea man, i understand is the the largest shareholder of evr. | careful
01/8/2013 12:20 | from LSE: This from the Jewish Business News on 11 July - could this not be good news? Alexander Abramov plans to merge Evraz with Severstal to create a steel superpower Abramov, founder and chairman of the Russian based steel producer Evraz is reported to be putting together a package that will see his company merge with another Russian based steel production giant, Severstal to become a serious force with a with a combined market capitalization of around $19 billion. However before he can get to his target, Abramov is well aware that he will have a few fences to leap ...... there is more | neilyb675
30/7/2013 19:12 | so further evidence that EVR are taking the necessary steps to manage costs and to minimise building up inventory......this for me is a wise move and should be accepted by the market as good COST REDUCTION. GLA | neilyb675
30/7/2013 19:00 | EVRAZ Suspends Operations at EVRAZ Palini e Bertoli in Italy 30 July 2013 - EVRAZ plc (LSE: EVR) ("EVRAZ" or the "Company") announces that due to unfavourable market conditions it has been decided to temporarily suspend operations at EVRAZ Palini e Bertoli's (Italy) plate mill starting from 20 August 2013. EVRAZ is expecting the operation to remain idle until at least the end of October 2013. The Company will closely monitor the developments in the European plate market and any further decisions on reopening will be subject to prevailing market conditions. EVRAZ Palini e Bertoli remains committed to duly perform under all existing arrangements and will execute all shipments under the current order book. After the suspension of EVRAZ Palini e Bertoli customer orders will be channelled to other facilities of EVRAZ to the extent possible. The Company doesn't expect any adverse effects on the performance of the Russian operations, which previously supplied slabs to EVRAZ Palini e Bertoli, as these volumes can be offered to the market at similar terms. EVRAZ is undertaking all necessary steps to minimise the costs of the temporary shutdown and maximise the release of the working capital associated with the Italian mill. | neilyb675

22/7/2013 13:10 | Well done for being hesitant, sceptical etc. Currently no clear signal in miners, except that they're oversold. This could be another such. However, I like £1 levels after steep falls, and the 90p level is a great braking point for shares that then head back over the £1 level. This has come down from £3 in six months, and it's no AIM company.. (1.5bn mcap) Looks to be a double bottom at the 90p level, too. But worth being, err, CAREFUL. Edit - not a miner - a realise, but.. | brucie5
22/7/2013 12:29 | results at the end of august. if they match the recent trading statement the could be re rated significantly. | careful

16/7/2013 16:29 | haha, brilliant day.... I am no chartist but todays close at the days high must be very bullish and happened without a raft of profit taking, bodes well imo. I had the QTR prod report in the diary for a few weeks and had hoped it would end the downtrend and bring renewed good sentiment to EVR. Lets hope that is the case. Buys significantly outweighing sells today....... | neilyb675
16/7/2013 16:04 | market likes the cost cutting efficiency and output !!! | neilyb675
