Could be -shares are not expensive and there may be earnings upgrades.Quite like this one -seems to be well managed to 'international' standards unlike some other Russian companies.

Yes -pretty positive. Evraz has alot going for it at present. Benefits of cost cutting and lower ore prices for its slab production plus depreciating export currencies. Cheap rating as well. What's not to like -well there is a bit -but more than offset by the positives. It seems to be a properly run international company which generates cash and pays dividends and can fund buy backs. No reason why these shouldn't re-rate post the tender offer to say 250/300p. So I will not participate in the tender offer.

Ha ha -what a difference 30 mins makes. Don't get me wrong I'm a holder and see good upside here. In fact I'm not entirely sure whether I will tender any shares.

So, for your shares held on the 17th April. Evraz will Buy back approx 8% for 2.08p per share. That should see the share price motoring north a bit by then, then.. (never mind all the other positives)

The deadline for the offer is 12pm on 15/04/2015.

Chart says it'll swipe lower on Tuesday morning now..

The 50sma is currently at 186.8p and apart from one week in December, that average line has been the stock's benchmark since July.

I am expecting it to pull strongly off it again this time.

Analysts disappointed it's not a special div. Major shareholder wanted a SBB - that might increase the free float.
Analysts are a hard bunch to please.

Welcome aboard -nice to have someone else here. Rating is modest and could be upgrades to come. I also like the fact that the governance here is of a high standard -unlike some other Russian companies.Its a cash generator which in part explains the tender offer.

Its a cracker -surprised not to see more following. Ive now got a free carry on my holding after a part sale today. will probably regret that as it looks like there is alot of momentum here.Def worth a look -not expensive. There is Russian exposure but it is a global player.
