09/8/2012 07:10 | O/T richscotsman, are you saying in #7464 that chip is Mark Hanson and is a party to this deal ? | giant steps
09/8/2012 06:11 | When this was originally mooted the day's high was 19.50p and the offer is only 19.00 which to me seems very unusual Date_______Open__Hig 27/07/2012 13.25 19.50 13.25 17.63 2,883,296 | togglebrush
09/8/2012 05:12 | Ian you dont have a cat in hells chance of buying at 16p tomorrow the bid offer spread first thing will exceed this. If it was that simple we would all be millionaires. I predict that the price may open at 18.6 and eventually hit 19 or even exceed this. The chance of a revised bid is nil as the directors have reccommended this unless there is another bidder. I will se how this plays out over the next 3 weeks | ch1ck
08/8/2012 22:56 | Metex -- you never know -- press releases tomorrow the mining biz is a small world they all know each other Maybe someone is saying I've got 50/million spare why not? If you buy tomorrow 16 p sell at 19 p Thers a quick 15% (I don't rec) just a thought | ian 50
08/8/2012 22:48 | Taken from the RNS: DMCI will take 60%....D&A Income 40%. D&A Income is an investment company....owned by a trust....of which Graham Edwards is a principal beneficiary. Graham Edwards is Chief Executive of Telereal Trillium....one of the UK's largest property companies. He is also the beneficial owner of Montoya Investments. Nearly game set and match then....or maybe not! Because now the "cat is out of the bag"....at such a paltry bid level....other interested parties....may take a look....DYOR. | metex
08/8/2012 22:35 | Where is the AGM -- address and time please Let's get the posse out As john Wayne said get off yr horse and drink yr milk Well what im saying is lets see if these directors can face their P I's Well said raf Metex for all your wisdom and loyalty & postings with us all A DIRISORY 19p Ithink if I actually meet one of the Bods or institutional investors I daren't think what frustration I would heap on them. | ian 50
08/8/2012 22:30 | Does anyone think this adds up? In arriving at the above recommendation, the Independent Directors are cognisant that the Joint Offerors either own or have received irrevocable undertakings to accept the Offer in respect of approximately 45.5 per cent. of the issued share capital of the Company and the strong likelihood that they would be successful in replacing the ENK Board and influencing the strategy of the Company should they wish to requisition a general meeting of the Company. The Independent Directors also do not believe that it would be in the best interests of ENK Shareholders to remain in a minority equity position in a company where there may not be liquidity or an opportunity to sell their shares. In these circumstances, the Independent Directors consider that, in the absence of a superior proposal, the Offer is in the best interests of ENK Shareholders as a whole. I question "strong likelihood". | zangdook
08/8/2012 22:10 | This just does not make sense!! Robert Gregory alone bought £250,000 worth of shares when ENK took over Rusina for a much higher price than 19p. All the Director's have been saying recently at presentations etc is that when we get to 50p we will be doing this and doing that. Also they were very bullish about the BFS and really keen on getting the plant built. Now all of a sudden they want to sell the company for a pittance and throw all this hard work away for nothing. I just don't get it. The only thing I can see that has persuaded them to sell is that they have been advised discretely by the Philipine authorities and powers that be that if they didn't sell to a Phillipine based company the plant would not be allowed to be built. Call it blackmail if you want. It all stinks really bad and I am really annoyed about this. I will be voting against this offer with my 200,000 shares that's for sure and will go to the agm if at possible. Lets fight this together - That way we can possible make it harder for this to go through. GLA | rafrider
08/8/2012 21:39 | Yep.. And they are addressed to the Fsa with the title 'market manipulation' and someone's name. | richscotsman
08/8/2012 21:33 | jezza "well I at least I can spell ian 50 :-)" mmmm......But there seems to be a bit of a vacuum in your grammatical expertise : ........." but if you play with fire don't expected to get burned sometimes. " noi , I can`t disagree with the gist of your post . The smell of brown manila envelopes here . | boobly

08/8/2012 20:08 | Much as I feel for the PIs here - some of the posters here seem to demonstrate considerable naivety, this story is like a large number in my many years of experience in the AIM market - don't even bother contacting the FSA your MP or your Mum - the fact is, if you buy shares in AIM tiddlers you take a risk, sometimes you win sometimes you get shafted - but if you play with fire don't expected to get burned sometimes. The big boys will eat you alive if you don't realise this simple fact. Good night and good luck. | jezza123
08/8/2012 19:53 | truely shafted .... disgraceful | shareho1der
08/8/2012 19:28 | It seems it's out of our hands I have that sinking feeling Maybe just maybe something might happen But I'm really feel there are not many options left They,, dcmi / Montoya have played us,,,played the directors,, Bob Gregory and his hard work They've seen Enk as venerable and take advantage of there hard work Trust what's that??? | ian 50
08/8/2012 18:50 | I agree Ian 50, so, is that it? Do we have a choice at all or are we all going to be robbed by them? | dreamsurfer141
08/8/2012 18:41 | As an independent sh/r holder this makes me sick to Th stomach What the hell is going on This smells WE LL BETTER TURN UP AT THE AGM | ian 50
08/8/2012 18:18 | So it`s happened....well and truely stitched up! puffintickler....Mr Walker has agreed as well: APPENDIX III DETAILS OF IRREVOCABLE UNDERTAKINGS The following ENK Shareholders have irrevocably undertaken to accept the Offer in respect of the Ordinary Shares set out below: Name Number of Ordinary % of issued share capital Shares Montoya Investments 47,805,809 18.24% ------------------- -------------------- Corporate Foresight 19,500,000 7.44% ------------------- -------------------- Star Bird Holdings Limited 17,763,284 6.78% ------------------- -------------------- Gina Suzanne Edwards 3,700,000 1.41% ------------------- -------------------- Total 88,769,093 33.87% ------------------- -------------------- Nice move by our management....to take us out from under the safe umbrella....of the UK Take Over code....while some ENK investors....might still have the opinion....that the Acoje JORC resource delays....kept the share price quiet over winter. Given the last RNS re potential offer....surprised Mr Gregory....and Mr Hanson....have caved in without a fight....there must have been a good reason. Disgusted....very disappointed....but this was not unexpected. Time out....for further thought!....DYOR. Might be useful....if contact email addresses of ENK....their Directors....FSA.... | metex
08/8/2012 18:04 | Does the Fsa police the city code? Worth dropping then a note if that is the case and asking them to take a look. Also thought I would write to the listed directors of the main listed shareholders to ask them to vote no and communicate to vote through changes to the bod. | richscotsman
08/8/2012 18:00 | It looks like they've rushed to get this out before the AGM in order to pre-empt Resolution 10: the Board is proposing to change the Articles of Association to adopt a new Article providing provisions equivalent to the City Code. From the Offer RNS: APPENDIX I CONDITIONS AND FURTHER TERMS OF THE OFFER 1 Conditions of the Offer The Offer will be subject to the following Conditions: .... (b) none of the following having occurred: .... (vi) the City Code becoming applicable, for any reason, to ENK; Assuming 'provisions equivalent to the City Code' would amount to 'the City Code' in that context. | zangdook
08/8/2012 17:53 | Reminder from 27th July 2012 " With the closing mid-market share price on 26 July 2012 of 13.75 pence (A$0.207), and a net asset value of 28.0 pence per share (A$0.42), the company believes any offer would need to be at a significant premium in order to recognise the full value of the company's assets and significant technological expertise.
