the current set up is a way forward, a way of getting the mine up and running, and the contractor gets paid for his services. I think theres a strong possibility that the contractor may become an equity owner of WK at some stage, so i suppose its in his interests to make it work. why would he want to remain a mere contractor?

Re wk managing our own washer plant team
I think the skills are simple and transferable
Imho The problem may be that we don’t have the motivation at management level to be miners but carry on been explorers.
For instance AB frequently says he is looking into hard rock cores for potential mines, so it appears he would not be motivated into running the WK operations with his own team of diggers and operatives. ? AB, am I right or wrong?

They will need to buy plant , fleet, and headhunt from stabilised Earth works contractors and a plant mantainer, easy if you hire the correct people but potentially a nightmare if you hire the wrong lot. You need someone with experience.

It's not just equipment that gets the stuff out, it's their skill and Labour that that is built into their share. What discount would they give us if we supplied our own 5%? Is it worth it.

What if...we allowed the contractor on site with his gear, and a rake of 65%, so he could get us some money, and now we are spending that money on our own kit, building up capital equipment, so we don't have to give 65% away?

So this year we work alongside the contractor, in tandem, using his kit and adding ours.

Wouldn't that make this season considerably more profitable for us, and more so going forward?

I wonder how our contractor feels about such an arrangement?

Here we need to buy our own fleet to guarantee a washer plant always works as planned
I am afraid there is a delay/or reduced production bcs contractor has its fleet /or part of its fleet committed d in another contract that has overextended
We shall know by the 20th June

We are st the bottom of channel, looking uncomfortable now
Hopefully traders buy at this level
