29/5/2019 16:28 | Circuit boards are not made of silver, merely coated with a few molecules, a very small amount indeed. Ok technically my sweeping statement may have not been correct but comparatively it certainly is. Just because silver is used widely in electronics doesn't mean large volumes of silver are used or that this has replaced it's former use in coins, cutlery or coffee pots. If it had its value would be a lot higher! | excellance

29/5/2019 13:56 | Re the lack of 3% declarations, I'm fairly certain there will be undeclared 3%+ holders, that's usually the case with overseas-based companies in murky jurisdictions. The FCA doesn't even have the resources to deal with any but the most egregious UK market frauds - they will never investigate a Russian or Chinese national who held more than 3% without declaring. Even in the worst case scenario where someone was found out, what would the FCA do? They have no power over foreign residents, and neither China nor Russia extradite their nationals. So they can thumb their noses and buy or sell as much as they want. | cyberbub
29/5/2019 13:55 | I think my post was pointing out former uses of silver, and not current uses. I wonder how many circuit boards could be coated in silver from a single silver teapot or 1 oz coin? Hundreds I imagine, maybe thousands. | excellance
29/5/2019 13:49 | "Search Results Featured snippet from the web Silver is highly conductive and is used in computers, keyboards, televisions, batteries, cell phones, calculators, cameras, watches, clocks, and microwave ovens. Silver is used to coat CDs and DVDs. It is used in wire soldering and even connecting plumbing pipes. These are just a few examples.17 Oct 2016" | rhuvaal2

29/5/2019 13:35 | I'm afraid you're wrong again Ex... A simple Google search. if you'd bothered... Uses of Silver in Electronics The number one use of silver in industry is in electronics. Silver's unsurpassed thermal and electrical conductivity among metals means it cannot easily be replaced by less expensive materials. Every track on every printed circuit board in every electrical device, including your smart phone, is made of the stuff. It used to be copper, but now they prefer silver as it generates less heat and saves energy. E. | abrahe00
29/5/2019 13:23 | CC maybe JPM have made another huge error? What if silver slips further into the mire as it becomes unfashionable for the long term to hold? Looking back to my youth we still had the occasional silver sixpence, granny polished her silver, and things were made out of the stuff, like hip flasks, cutlery, teapots, trinket boxes, salt servers etc... These days nothing is made from silver. Nothing at all. It isn't used in photography either. Nobody can be bothered with silver, we have stainless steel which is better. Silver, like jade in China or turquoise in Egyptian myth...could become just a base metal. | excellance
29/5/2019 13:02 | Silver is manipulated to high heaven. That is how JPM has managed to accumulate at least 600m ounces. Do you think they have done that because they like the look of it? | charles clore

29/5/2019 12:50 | mostyn - I don't know why they have to be so vague but we have lived with it for the past several years an progress has been made, there's no doubt about that. So I just take it all in my stride as a nuance of the company. Maybe we will all be happy this year or next when the whales start to buy in. | charles clore
29/5/2019 12:39 | If it's still imminent what does the following mean: In the finals on May 15th they stated: " At the time of writing production is ramping up for the year to full scale at West Kytlim and the Directors now regard Eurasia as an established mining Company." | mostyn
29/5/2019 12:24 | "The neizbeznnost neizbezhnogo is inevitable. This is just a play on words, not hinting." Imminent normally means "getting near" but can be also stretched to "upon us", like it's raining but more rain is imminent, it'll rain all weekend. So, are we mining now, it is imminent after all, more tomorrow and the day after maybe... I'm happy to let them just get on with it and I don't want an hourly update, just bullet point key events. | excellance
29/5/2019 12:13 | Come off it CC... Nice BIG time allocations in "Quarters" allows them to get away with murder. At this stage, they should be working to weeks and reporting in months, not quarters. There was that drab RNS back in March re the start of the EPC, which they had to do contractually, mentioning the farm out of some documentation work. It's been three months and we haven't heard a peep more. As for misinformation... don't even get me started! E. | abrahe00

29/5/2019 12:03 | I missed that tweet. As far as the chart goes, the commencement of the EPC Contract and Pre-stripping is shown to start at the beginning of Q2. It may not make sense to try to be more specific than some time in Q2 but it seems unlikely that anything has started yet, as it would constitute a significant step in the progress to production at Monchetundra, and would surely have warranted an RNS, especially as it would be expected to garner more interest in Eurasia and perhaps allow some money to flow in from the exercise of the 0.60p warrants. From the last CS interview I seem to remember that I was left with the impression that the chart dates shown were unlikely to be hit. | mostyn
